Anlo, Belgium, dim.: 12:00 x 4.00 x 1.00 mtr, design by Huitema, headway approx; 3 mtr (mast lowered) steel multichine hull, steel decks and superstructure, hardened glass (double glazing) windows in stainless frames, displacement: 14 tonnes, ballast: 1 tonnes (cast iron), fueltanks: 2 x 500 ltrs (steel), freshwatertanks: 1 x 500 ltrs (stainless steel), sumptank: 300 ltrs ((stainless steel for shower, can be converted for uwtoilet), hydraulic wheelsteering.
This Barkas 1200 is built with licence by Huitema and fitted out for offshore cruising. Her large open cockpit is ideal for leisure, fishing, entertainment, children etc. All steel work done in sandblasted plating and zinc-epoxy coating. Ensuring long lasting protection. Hull and decks painted in the original Barkas colours black/red.
Classic mahogany interior, 3 cabins and saloon, ownerscabin forward with centreline berth, two guestcabins (with single berths, but can be altered two double berth at later stage) underneath the saloon. 1 x u.w.toilet with washbasin and shower seperate. Saloon/wheelhouse with dinette, galley and settee. Galley equipped with eletric waterpressure system (pump to be serviced), boyler hot water (on engine), Deawoo fridge (2004), three burner gasstove and microwave oven. The interior is home built, but in nice condition, functional and comfortable and permanantly ventilated. Also installed a Webasto diesel ducted air heater.
