General Aluminium sailing yacht Truly Classic 78 "Bontekoning" built in 2006 by Dutch Yacht builders and Dorr Jachtbetimmering B.V. designed by Hoek design Naval architects, dim: 24.00 (lwl 16.80) x 5.62 x 2.60 m., built to Lloyds classification, to MCA standards and with a CE classification, headway approx. 28,10 m., aluminium dark green hull, deck and superstructure, teak flush deck, fin keel with bulb, displacement approx. 48 tonnes, ballast approx. 16 tonnes, fuel tank approx. 2 x 900 ltrs and a daytank approx. 170 ltrs., fresh watertank approx. 2 x 850 ltrs, sump tank approx. 1 x 500 ltrs, wheel steering.
Accommodation An extraordinary Art Deco interior features classic detailing throughout. Bontekoning's spacious wheelhouse offers an elegant and efficient U-shaped dining area with superb views and also houses a modern fully equipped navigation station. The large owner’s stateroom is located forward of the mast bulkhead with a queen sized bed. Two guest suites are integrated in the aft section. In addition to a large open plan lounge, further relaxation options are available at deck level in the aft cockpit. Each of the staterooms and suites have their own bathroom and shower. The mirrors and floors are electrically heated and the heads are electrically flushed. Particulars Extremely efficient insulation against noise and vibration makes the Bontekoning pleasurable during motoring and sailing. All walls have fireproof insulation. The yacht has 5 watertight compartments, each provided with a separate bilge pump system. Because of the “dry” exhaust system of the main engine and generators, the noise level during operation is minimal. Bontekoning has new sails, new batteries and the generators are almost new (800 and 1200 hours). The main engine has only 1400 working hours. The hull is newly bottom painted; the exterior newly varnished and the mechanical systems are well maintained and in excellent condition.
