General Steel motor yacht, Lowland 501 "Resolution Lady", launched in 1986, built in 1985 by Lowland Yachts in Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk - Holland, design by Pieter Beeldsnijder, dim.: 15,40 m (Lwl 13,60 m) x 4,60 m x 1,50 m, headway: approx. 10,00 m (mast down 4.00 m, and mast and mast foot removed 3,55 m). Steel round bilged hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck, hull sandblasted in '91, superstructure repainted in '91 with Awl grip two comp. paint, hardened glass windows in aluminium frames, Koop Nautic stabilizers (driven by hydro pump on starboard main engine), fuel capacity: 1x 2.000 litres + 1x 1.000 litres, fresh water capacity: 2x 1.000 litres, sump tank: 2x 340 litres, displacement: approx. 25,4 tonnes, hydraulic wheel steering + joy stick, emergency steering tiller.
Accommodation Classic teak interior, wheel house, saloon, front and aft cabin, crew cabin, 6 berths, two heads, headroom: approx. 2,00 m., Eberspächer D7 hot air heating (diesel). Stork water pressure system (hydrofor), hot water cylinder with immersion heater plus engine recovered heat. Wheelhouse with three leather electric controlled Recaro seats, cozy saloon with two settees. Front cabin with single berths, crew cabin with two bunk berths, spacious aft cabin with two single berths. U-shaped galley with a Miele four ring electric stove, Miele extractor, Miele electric oven, Sharp microwave, Sibir fridge of 20 litres (24V/220V). Philips washing machine in crew cabin. Two heads each with wash bowl, shower, one with an electric toilet and one with a manual toilet.
Machinery Ford Sabre 2x 150 hp diesel engines, approx. 4520 engine hours, Morse engine controls, indirect cooling with heat exchanger, maximum speed: approx. 10 knots, cruising speed: approx. 7,5 knots at 1.600 Rpm., Borgwarner hydraulic gearboxes (2:1.1), Federal 4-bladed bronze propellers of '00, Federal propeller shafts of steel - oil bath , spare set of 3 bladed propellers ( Federal) - fully balanced and ready to be used, Alfa Laval fuel separator, hydraulic Federal bow thruster (driven on Vetus generator - generator must be replaced), electric and manual bilge pump, Electric circuit: 24/220V (ADK De Keizer - Amsterdam), batteries: 4x 280 amp. + 2x 190 amp. (all of approx. '07) + 2x 90 amp. (generators), shore power with earth leakage breaker, Isolation transformer 32A./220V, La Manche Consta-Volt automatic float battery charger 60 amp/24V, Onan generator of '00 - (2.800 hours) 7,5 kVa, Vetus generator - 13,0 kVa - must be replaced. All equipment is working and been tried out during commissioning this week, including the hydraulics and control electrics for the bow thruster. The only non functioning item is the Vetus engine for the main generator / bow thrust.
Navigation Overhead compass by Observator Rotterdam, Brook & Gatehouse echo sounder, Walker log, Walker wind set: speed, Sailor VHF (no Atis), Furuno 24 miles radar, Neco autopilot, Garmin 128 GPS (from approx. '00 with data connection), Navtex, Neco Auto pilot + 24 V dc hydraulic steering pump.
Equipment Aluminium mast, mast lowering system, standing rig of stainless steel, Avon tender with bench Locker seats, Yamaha outboard (approx. 8 hp - '02), Simpson davits of stainless steel and stainless steel wires, Lewmar electric anchor winch ('99), pool anchor of 50 kg, approx. 100 m anchor chain, bathing platform with teak, boarding ladder of stainless steel, deck wash installation, three wipers, window vent, stereo with CD player, clock and barometer, cockpit cushions, original dock plan, manuals, electric wire diagram and drawings available, and full cruising inventory of spare parts.
Particulars Lowland Yachts has been a super yacht maker, whose name bears a description of the home country in which they are built: the Netherlands. Over the years, the Lowland shipyard in Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk has constructed yachts in both aluminum and steel hull styles. Pieter Beeldsnijder has been the designer of the Lowland 501. "Resolution Lady" is an easily-handled steel yacht, equipped with twin Sabre diesel engines of 150 hp each, stabilizers, bow thruster, generator etc.
