Seagoing ex. RWS Vessel "ELISABETH", launched in 1972, built by N.V. Scheepswerf & Machinefabriek v.h. H.J. Koopman - Holland, building number 182.
She’s built for the Dutch "Rijkswaterstaat", this is the executive arm of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment.
She has been built according to the highest standards with all mechanical and structural parts being over dimensioned and extremely strong constructed.
Dim: approx. 22,20 m x 5,24 m x 1,52 m., headway: 6,20 m.
Round bilged - clinker built - steel hull, steel superstructure and deck, aluminium wheel house.
Hull thickness: bottom 8 mm going up to 7 mm and 6 mm, last stroke and above the waterline 5 mm.
Complete paint job in 2008.
Hardened glass windows in bronze framing of which several in wheel house and saloon can be opened, in the cabins portholes with steel storm covers.
Doors on both sides of the wheelhouse and one door at the back of the saloon.
Separate engine room entrance on the aft deck.
Fresh water capacity: 2.000 litres (steel tank) + second tank of 1.700 litres.
Fuel capacity: 2x 2.375 litres + one day tank with 100 litres, (fuel tanks cleaned inside in 2009).
Sump tank for grey and black water: 700 litres.
Gauges for fresh water, fuel and waste tank.
Tanks are not integrated in the hull, but are all separate mounted in a tank hold under the saloon; except for the waste tank which is integrated in the bottom part of the hull. all tanks fully accessible inside and outside.
Displacement: approx. 60,88 tonnes.
Tenfjord hydraulic wheel steering inside with oil bath rudder shafts, emergency tiller.
"Elisabeth" has been build according to the highest standards for the Dutch ministry of Transport and "Waterstaat" under the name "M.S. Helcherzee". She has been used as a measuring and inspection vessel during the building period of the “Delta Werken” in Zeeland (NL). After this work, she has been sold to a private person and has been used for personal use since than. Since 2008 a lot of maintenance / improvements have been done.

Morse engine control, double fuel filter system, extraction system in engine room with forced in and out blowers, electric bow thruster 20 hp / 400V (generator has to be running to use the bow thruster). Large heavy duty pump driven by the starboard main engine for several functions, manual backup pump.
Electric circuit: 12V/24V/230V/400V, built by Verkaik, shore power connection with earth leakage breaker. Van Rietschoten 50 Ah battery charger, Victron 24V / 3000W invertor, Victron isolation transformer 7000.

Main engine and service bank can be connected.
Generators: 1x DAF 615 6 cylinder - 60 kVA / 400V + 1x Vetus Mitsubishi M414 4 cylinder- 12 kVA / 240 V. The DAF 615 generator has an electric generator on the front of the engine and a hydraulic pump on the back side of the engine. The DAF has been mounted in the engine room, the Vetus has been mounted in the aft lazarette and has a sound cover. Dashboard for main engine in steering house and engine room, Vetus generator can be started from the steering house, the main generator starts in the engine room.
Fire extinguishers in engine room, saloon, passage way and wheel house (need to be inspected), emergency shutters for the fuel valves for generator and main engine's.
6'' Oberservator compass, Simrad IS 15 electric compass, Simrad IS12 echo sounder, Simrad IS15 wind set (speed and direction), Simrad IS15 combi device for several functions.
3x VHF: one Shipmate RS 8110 (no Atis) one Simrad RD68W (with Atis /DSC) and one Icom ICM 33 handheld (with Atis).
