GRP motoryacht Halmatic 42 "Sally Tay", built in 1972 by Halmatic Ltd and Browning Burner, England, dim.: 12,80 x 3,60 x 1,10 mtr, headway (with mast lowered); 2,50 mtr, design by Halmatic using the famous offshore Pilot launches, grp hull and deck, teakdecks renewed in 1994, teak(wood-epoxy) superstructure with harded tinted glass (8-10mm) windows in alum. framing (renewed in 1994), displacement: approx. 11 tonnes, fueltanks: 2 x 1000 ltrs (steel), freshwatertanks: 2 x 450 ltrs (grp), sumptank: 80 ltrs (grp), hydraulic wheelsteering in- and outside renewed in 1994.
Sturdy built grp seagoing twin screw motoryacht. Built in the same tradition as the famous English Pilotboats, this Halmatic 42 has a good seakeeping performance. Her current third owner (from 1988 onwards), has been upgrading the yacht over the years with a new interior, windows, teakdecks, etc. She has been used for cruising in- and offshore waters, making trips to the Med, France canals, etc.
Classic teak interior (rebuilt in 1993-94), two cabins with saloon/wheelhouse and galley, 4(+2) berths, headroom: 1.88/2.00 mtr, 2 x electric underwaterline toilets (1997), 2 x shower (for the ownerscabin the shower is seperate), Webasto diesel ducted air heating, dinette forward opposite of the galley, electric waterpressure system, boyler hot water system (220v + dieselheater), Gimeg 4 burner gasstove, Barco 24v fridge with holdingplate (1995).
2 x Perkins 6.354T 175 hp (138kW) diesel engines, installed in 1972, indirect coolingsystem, hydraulic gearboxes, s.s. propellershafts, three bladed fixed bronze propellers, cruisingspeed approx. 8-10 knots, topspeed (dependable on load) 17 knots, 3 x electric bilgepumps, 24/220v electrical system, 6 x 110amp batteries (2004), shorepower, Mastervolt 24v/25amp batterycharger (2002), Mastervolt 1500 watt 24-220v invertor (1997).
