GRP sailingyacht M-36 "Doordrijver", built in 1998 by Team Monique/Bjorkland, dim.: 11,09 (lwl 8,50) x 3,36 x 1,70 mtr, design by Lennart Sandell (designer of Malö), design approved by Lloyd's Register, grp hull, deck and superstructure, roundbilged hull, fin keel, balanced spaderudder in skeg, displacement: 7,2 tonnes, ballast: 2,4 tonnes (lead internal ballast), fueltank: 80 ltrs, freshwatertank: 140 ltrs, sumptank (polytheen), Whitlock mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.
Designed by Lennart Sandell, known for his work for the Malö Yachts, the M36 has similar features and characteristics. A real safe and sturdy oceangoing sailingyacht with moderate lines below the waterline, ensuring a good seakeeping character. Her cockpit is well sheltered and deep but yet spacious enough to entertain family and friends. She comes well equipped and has good performance under sail as well.
Classic mahogany interior, 2 cabin and saloon, dinette, 4(+2) berths, headroom: 1,82 mtr, 1 x u.w.toilet, shower, galley: electric waterpressure system, boyler hot water on engine, Plastimo two burner gasstove and oven, coolbox prepared.

Sloop-cutter-rigged, Seldén aluminium double spreader mast, s.s. standing rigging, Furlex headsailfurler, removable cutter-stay, 5 sails: semi-full-batten main (North) / furling genoa / furling genoa III/ cutter-stay-sail/ gennaker, Seldén backstayadjuster, Rodkick boomvang, 2 x 44CST + 2 x 30CST sheetwinches, 2 x 30CST halyardwinches, all by Lewmar, spi-pole. Whole rigging is installed in 1999/2000.

The M36 is built to the standard of the drawings which are approved by Lloyds register.
The hull is a hand laid balsa sandwich using triaxial rovings with iso resins and NGA gel coat and vinylester/epoxy primer below the waterline for osmosis protection. The balsa core extends to the waterline and the laminate is solid below.
