Built in SM grade, keel 8 mm, hull 7 mm, sandblasted steel with transfer framing each 45 cm., 5 watertight sections by 4 bulkheads, of which 2 have watertight doors, main one in forward corridor, other is aft entrance/escape door engine room. Steel (removable) skeg rudder. Steel docking strips. Stainless steel fastening strip under cap rail, fairlead holes, anchor chain pipe, bow protection plate(s). Ultrasonic welding report made during construction. SUPERSTRUCTURE: Built in 5 mm steel. Aluminium radar/navigation mast hydraulic lowerable. THERMIC INSULATION: Hull down to waterline and Superstructure insulated by foam. ACOUSTIC INSULATION: As per Noise & Vibrations specialists advice. Saloon 62-65 dB. Engine room anti-noise materials down to waterline with aluminium sheeting. Interior floors installed on rubber. Installations in engine room where required mounted on rubber sockets. Anti vibrations plates epoxy glued to the inside hull, engine room and hull above shaft. DECKS: Steel. Main deck covered with 14 mm quarter sewed moulmain teak over marine plywood under layment in a bedding compound.
