GRP sailing yacht Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 44 "Atlantis", built in 1991 by Jeanneau in France, dim.: Loa 13,33 m (Lwl 10,60 m) x 4,23 m x 2,12 m, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, underwater ship waterblasted and cleaned and resealed with interprotect, displacement: approx. 10 tonnes, ballast (cast iron): 3.645 tonnes, fuel tank S/S: 220 litres, two S/S fresh water tanks ('03), S/S holding tank ('99), wheel steering (some play in de rudderbearings) , emergency tiller.
The Sun Odyssey 44 was designed by Daniel Andrieu with the aim of providing a powerful, responsive yacht yet one which is stable at sea. The result is a good sailing performance at all weather and directions. Boats equipped with the deep fin (2,12m) keel are stunning.
