''Stardust'' was built to Lloyds standard for the present owner. She is a strong, safe, seaworthy vessel (four separate watertight compartments), capable of long range cruising (+/- 2000 nm). Full insulation throughout. Specialised wall coverings to some bulkheads on lower decks.
The interior has teak panelling and solid teak doors. The engine room is totally isolated with water-tight doors and bulkheads, well set out and with easy access.

In 1998, the hull below the waterline was completely sandblasted and epoxy painted (9 coats including antifouling). Above the waterline, she was meticulously prepared and spray painted with high quality two-component paint. The external doors and handrails were completely varnished.
