Mulder 74 for sale

De Valk Palma has been appointed central agent for the sale of a newly refitted Mulder 74. Launced by the renowned Dutch yard in 1997 as the flagship of a new range of custom motor yachts, the Mulder 74 remains one of the finest mid-sized long-range cruising vessels available. Constantly maintained to the highest standard by her owners, the yacht is in exceptional condition after her comprehensive refit.

The Mulder yard in the Netherlands has a very high reputation for the way its motor yachts are equipped and finished to a standard way beyond the norm for the size of vessel. Designed by De Vries Lentsch, this Mulder 74 is no exception, with exclusive materials used throughout to ensure an unforgettable stay onboard for six people and four crew members.

“From the high flybridge to the delightful bow sunbathing platform, from the expansive aft deck to the large saloon, this 22.50-metre yacht is an excellent example of how a cruising vessel should be,” says Thorsten Giesbert, the broker responsible for the sale at De Valk Palma. “With all her equipment having been factory serviced and marine air-conditioning throughout, this Mulder 74 represents exceptional value for money in today’s market.”

The major refit between 2008 and 2009 included glass-blasting the underwater body and entirely repainting the hull and superstructure with eight layers of Awlgrip. All the electronics have been upgraded and the carpeting and upholstery have been fully renewed.

The yacht has a stunning teak varnished interior, with teak panelling throughout. A luxurious owner's stateroom features a king-sized bed and there are two ensuite double guest cabins. A spacious salon offers comfortable seating for eight while the adjustable centre windows allow a warm breeze to drift in. There is an open plan galley and dining area on the starboard side. The Mulder 74 was also created with al fresco pleasures in mind, with a large sunbathing area and lots of dining options on the flybridge.
