Moonen 75 for sale
While the Moonen yard is renowned for its superlative selection of ‘pocket-sized’ displacement superyachts, this leading Dutch boatbuilder also occasionally builds high speed aluminium yachts. De Valk Palma is therefore delighted to be able to offer as central agent a rare Moonen 75, launched in 1999 as Martann.
“Because of their scarcity, these half-glider poweryachts are much sought after by connoisseurs,” says Thorsten Giesbert, the broker responsible for the sale at De Valk Palma. “The Moonen 75 is a fine example of a semi-displacement yacht that offers her owners the choice of how fast they wish to go. Her single chine hull shape combined with the powerful Caterpillar twin-turbines allows this 22.85-metre boat to easily attain 24 knots and still retain the legendary Moonen comfort levels. In fact the performance is so smooth that it resembles a displacement yacht with a stabilisation system”
Jupiter’s current owner bought the yacht from De Valk in 2003 and has enjoyed seven fine seasons of cruising. One of the many highlights onboard this well-equipped vessel is the luxurious full-beam master stateroom, complete with an ensuite bath.
The cherrywood and maple interior also includes three guest cabins and has been fitted with new parquet flooring on the main deck and in the wheelhouse. A minimum of two metres of headroom makes all the accommodation areas feel exceptionally spacious for a yacht of this size.
Other features of note on Jupiter are the two separate steering stations, large saloon, dining area and an impressive galley fitted entirely with Siemens equipment. Jupiter also benefits from full air-conditioning throughout, including on the bridge. “This is an active yacht with a wealth of facilities for both relaxation and play,” concludes Giesbert.
