Guido de Groot’s superb design for Seabird has given her lovely lines combined with a spacious closed wheelhouse that also serves as a second saloon. A smart open-plan layout makes the entire interior feel much larger than her size would suggest. It also makes onboard communication very easy, one of many reasons why Seabird can be sailed short-handed. Another is the hydraulic bow and sternthrusters, part of an impressive equipment roster that also includes two Cummins 220 hp diesels that provide a speed of ten knots.
