For sale: latest Buccaneer 65
De Valk Sneek has been appointed central agent for the sale of a fine example of the latest model in the Buccaneer 65 Explorer range. This beautiful long-range motoryacht is perfect for bluewater cruising and was built by the renowned Brazilian yard Inace.
Meticulously maintained since her launch in 2006 and refurbished in 2012, this well-equipped trawler is anchored in the Caribbean and for sale on location. Her American owners came into contact with De Valk through the sale of her sister ship Beluga, which was sold by the Sneek office to Russian buyers. This is the latest model of the Buccaneer 65 series currently on the market and is already attracting lots of attention from potential buyers.
This 19.80-metre Explorer features an aluminium hull and superstructure with painted and teak decks and hardened glass windows. The stabilising system and high-capacity epoxy-coated fuel and water tanks make her ideal for ocean cruising. Hydraulic wheel steering, a hydraulic bowthruster, a second steering position on the flybridge and a remote-controlled docking system mean she is easy to handle with just an operator-owner couple or a small crew.
The classic mahogany interior with 2.10-metre headroom consists of a full-beam owners’ suite, a double VIP cabin and a guest cabin with luxury entertainment systems and ensuite facilities. The U-shaped galley is modern and well-equipped, as is the cosy saloon. The aft deck features a wet bar and seating space with a beautifully crafted wooden table. A refurbishment in 2012 included a new paint coating for the hull, a new bimini, new cushion covers and new sofa seating in the saloon.
The Brazilian yard Inace specialises in the construction of steel and aluminium boats for commercial and maritime applications, as well as luxury yachts for the private sector.
