Beneteau has been around for a long time. The Beneteau First range is the fastest of their line of cruisers with lots of cruising comfort and style. The First 47.7 is an exeptional design combining Beneteau's experience and the talent of Bruce Farr. The result is a comfortable, safe and fast cruiser that can beat around the buoys with the best of them.

GRP sailing yacht, Beneteau First 47.7, built in 2001 by Beneteau France, dim: 14,70 (lwl 12,60) x 4,49 x 2,80 m., design by Bruce Farr & Associates, CE Class A, grp white coloured hull, grp decks with teak, grp superstructure, roundbilged hull, fin keel, balanced spade rudder, teak in the cockpit, Lewmar windows, portholes and deckhatches, Lewmar Oceanair rollerblinds for portholes, displacement: 11,5 tonnes, ballast: 3,8 tonnes (lead), fueltank: 250 ltrs, freshwatertanks: 620 ltrs (in three polythelene tanks), JP3 mechanical wheelsteering with destroyer type leather covered steeringwheel, JP3 rollerbearings for the rudderstock, emergency tiller.
Classic Cherry wood interior, 3 cabin layout with ownerscabin forward, headroom: 2,10 mtr., 6 (+2) berths in total, ensuite to ownerscabin uw-toilet, shower and washbasin, aft for guestcabins uw-toilet, shower and washbasin, oval shaped dinette with gimballed table-top, Eberspaecher diesel ducted hot air heating.
Galley; L-shaped worktops with double stainless sinks, electric waterpressure system, footpump faucet, boiler hot water system (220v/engine), Eno two burner gasstove with oven, 12v Frigomatic frontloading fridge with freezing compartment, seperate large toploading coolbox.
Volvo Penta TMD22, 78 hp (57 kW) diesel, installed in 2001, approx. 730 hours, indirect coolingsystem, mechanical gearbox, s.s. propellershaft with three bladed feathering MaxProp, consumption approx. 4 ltrs/hr, cruising speed approx. 7 knots, manual/electric bilgepumps, 12/220v electrical system, 3 x service batteries and 1 x start battery, extra 80amp alternator, shorepower, Dolphin 12V/40amp automatic batterycharger.
Plastimo Olympic 135 magnetic pedestal compass, B&G Network Quad system for log, echsosounder, windset and autopilot (with hydraulic drive) with several digital displays and remote switch, Shipmate RS 8300 VHF, B&G chartplotter, Philips MK 10 GPS, Simrad RA30 radar with dome mounted on aluminum radar/antenna carrier on the stern, Furuno Navtex NX-300 weather reciever, JVC radio/cd player.
Electric windlass (yet to be installed), Fortress aluminium anchor with line, boarding ladder with teak steps, small bathingplatform, deck shower, life lines, fire extinghuiser.
Sloop-rigged (9/10th), Sparcraft triple spreader mast with s.s. rodrigging, tall rigg version (approx. 2 mtrs taller than standard mast), Tuff-luff headsail foil, Navtec hydraulic backstayadjuster, mainsailcover, Lewmar 2 x 60ST (3 speed) primary sheetwinches, 2 x 50ST secondary sheetwinches, 2 x 48ST halyardwinches, aluminium and stainless steel Lewmar deckgear, white Carbon spi-pole, Rodkicker boomvang.
