The Breehorn 37 is a typical Koopmans design: beautiful, timeless and well performing. These characteristics make these yachts highly desirable classics amongst current generation sailing yachts. Because of the hull shape and choice of materials she is able to cruise comfortably and safely in all weather conditions. Although her semi-heavy displacement and increased rig she can be surprisingly fast and agile to sail.

GRP sailing yacht BREEHORN 37 ''Born 2 B Blue", built in 1991 #43, dim.: 11.30 x 3.60 x 1.90 mtr., headway 17.50 mtr., built by Breehorn BV, designed by Dick Koopmans, GRP deck and superstructure both laid with teak (rubber caulking needs work), aluminum windows, dark blue round bilged hull (hull painted in 2006), fin keel (weighted according higher mast) , displ. approx. 8.000 kg., ss fuel tank 90 ltr., 2x 200 ltr. plastic water tank, no sump tank, Whitlock wheel steering with emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior by Breehorn, 2 cabins and saloon, 4(+2) berths, dinette with nice styled upholstery, headroom; 190 mtr., Head with Jabsco manual toilet and shower and door to big aft locker, Webasto Airtop 3500 diesel ducted hot air heating, Galley; electric water pressure system with 40 ltr hot water boiler (220v/engine), Force 10 three burner gas stove with oven, Coolmatic top loading fridge (2008), Lots of cupboard space throughout.
Vetus 4.14 33 hp (24kW) diesel, installed in 1991, (engine hours approx. 2500), indirect cooling system, ss shaft with Gori two bladed folding propeller, cruising speed approx. 6,5 knots, consumption approx.2,5 ltr/hr, manual and electric bilge pumps, 12/220v electrical system, 2 x service (110amp 2008) and 1 x start battery (70amp), shore power, Mastervolt 25amp automatic battery charger, Mastervolt 700 watt inverter, Mastervolt 12V alternator on engine (2006).
Whitlock Polaris 125 Compass on steering pedestal, Log / Speed / Echo sounder / Multi instrument at Chart table (all Autohelm ST 50), Wind Raymarine 60+ (2006), Icom M127 Euro VHF with Atis, JRC 1000 Radar, Autohelm 7000 autopilot, Phillips MK 9 GPS-D, Alpha Navtex receiver (screen).
Sprayhood with ss frame (Hagoort 2006), Dan buoy with ss holder, Bruce anchor with rope and chain, bathing ladder, Sony radio/CD/MP3 player with remote control, shower on deck (hot/cold water), clock and barometer, e-weather set, electronic Crewfinder device incl. 1 personal responder, Powerwinch electronic winch handle, warps and fenders.
Sloop-cutter-rigged, Proctor Spars double spreader aluminum mast (increased by 0,90 mtr.) with s.s. standing rigging (mast and boom painted and standing rigging renewed in 2006), Harken genoa furler, removable cutter stay, Ss mechanical boom vang, 2x primary winch ST 52, and 2x sheet winches ST43, 1x ST 40 reefing winch at mast (all winches by Lewmar) , 2x spi-pole, running check stays. Harken / Goiot / Rutgerson well equipped deck gear, Harken mechanical backstay adjuster, 5 Sails; full batten main (Hagoort 2006) / Genua 1 (Lion Sails) / Genua 3 (Hagoort 2004), Cutter Jib, Spinnaker, Mainsail cover (2006).
