Sailing World's 1990 "Overall Boat-of-the-Year"! The J 44 is a tough to beat excellent cruiser/racer package. A perfect offshore cruiser/racer with ample classic styled accommodations below decks. Certainly a yacht for safe cruising with family and friends. She is easily handled with her mast-top sloop rigging and can handle large sails in harsh conditions. Not a light weight, easy to break, racer. Built to A1 class ABS specifications. "Suzanne Marie" is in very nice condition, little used and raced only 3 times. 3 Times with good success showing her potential as a fast, sturdy built and comfortable cruisingyacht.

Johnstone, built to ABS +A1 specifications, grp hull, deck and superstructure, dark green AWLGripp hull, perspex windows in alum. framing, roundbilged hull, fin keel, displacement: 9.9 tonnes, ballast: 4 tonnes (lead), fueltank: 151 ltrs (alum.), freshwatertank: 300 ltrs. (polytheen), Edson mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.

Classic teak with white panelled interior, 2 cabins and saloon, 2 x head/shower, smaller third cabin aft also to be used as large lazarette (access from cockpit), total 6 fixed berths (+2), headroom: 2.00 mtr, Eberspaecher diesel ducted air heating, second interior heating on main engine, galley; electric waterpressure system, manual faucet+footpump (seawater), boyler hot watersystem on engine+shorepower, Force 10 three burner gasstove and oven, Seafrost compressor driven fridge, crockery, carbon-monoxyde alarm, etc.

Yanmar 4JH-TE 62 hp ( kW) diesel, installed in 1990, approx. 1750 runninghours, indirect coolingsystem, mechanical gearbox, s.s. propeller shaft, Gori two bladed folding propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 7,5 kn, consumption approx. 4 ltr/hr, manual + electric bilgepumps, 2 x heavy duty alternators on main engine, 5 service batteries / 1 x starting battery, shorepower, batterycharger, 220-110V shorepower invertor. 110V AC electrical system can be easily changed into 220v AC system.
