Spacious gentlemans motoryacht with ample possibilities for longer stays onboard. Can do up to 20-23 knots for safe and quick cross channel passages or Rhein river but can also run economically at trolling speeds on inland waterways. The Cockpit Motoryacht version of the Ocean Alexander has a lower airdraft than most of her contemporary sisters making her suitable for inland waterways and French canals.

GRP Ocean Alexander 42 Cockpit Motoryacht, built in 1990 by Ocean Alexander Marine Co Ltd., dim.: 13,10 x 4,30 x 1,20 mtrs, headway 3,50 mtr (with lowered radar arch), grp hull, deck and superstructures, tainted glass windows in aluminium framing, teak decks, displacement: 16 tonnes, fueltanks: 1140 ltrs, freshwatertank: 560 ltrs, sumptank with macerator pump, hydraulic wheelsteering in- outside on flybridge.
Classic teak interior, 2 cabins and decksaloon. Ownerscabin with centreline kingsize berth and lots of cupboards, with ensuite electric uw-toilet/washbasin and seperate shower. Guestcabin forward with ensuite uw-toilet (electric) and washbasin. Dinette opposite of galley and in decksaloon can be converted into double berths. Galley equipped with electric waterpressure system, boiler hot water system (220v/engine), Bosch ceramic four burner stove, Norcold frontloading fridge/freezer, Eumenia 800 washingmachine, Philips coffee broyler. Interior is heated with twin Eberspaecher diesel ducted hot air heating and cooled down by an airconditioning system. Ample headroom throughout with 1,95-2.00 mtrs.
2 x GM Detroit 4082 250 hp (187kW) diesels, installed in 1990, approx. 1700 runninghours, indirect coolingsystem, TwinDisc hydraulic gearboxes, s.s. propellershafts with three bladed fixed pitch propellers, cruisingspeed approx. 9 knots, topspeed 20-23 knot (dependable on load), 3 x electric bilgepumps, 12/24/220v electrical system, 4 x 200amp batteries/2 x 12v batteries, Mastervolt 12v/60amp automatic batterycharger, Mastervolt 24v/25amp automatic batterycharger, shorepower, Onan 6kW diesel generator in soundproofing box (approx. 520 runninghours), Bennett electric trimtabs, Cupa powerfull bow- and sternthrusters for easy manouvering.
VDO electric compass, VDO log and echosounder, Navman 450 Fishfinder, Shipmate RS8300 VHF, Furuno 1631 radar, Simrad CP30 chartplotter-GPS, Miranda loudhailer for on deck communication, electric horn.
Flybridge cover, cushions for flybridge seats, s.s. davits, lifebuoy, Maxwell electric windlass (up&down) with Danforth anchor and chain, bathingplatform with boardingladder and hot-cold deckshower, 2 x windscreen wipers, fenders, warps, clock, barometer, radio-cd player, etc. Underwaterbody epoxy treated in 2003.
