Anmerkungen des Maklers

"Brave Hendrik" was designed, built and fitted out for extensive cruising. She received a major cosmetic overhaul in 1996/1998 with sandblasting, paintjob and teakdecks. Gillissen always designed good looking motoryachts with good seagoing capabilities and "Brave Hendrik" is no exception in that respect. Very pleasant layout with a wonderful pilothouse, wide side decks and surprisingly large aft deck.

Steel motoryacht Gillissen Kotter ''Brave Hendrik'', built in 1974 by Scheepswerf De Waal, Noord Scharwoude, The Netherlands, dim.: 13.20 (lwl 11.40) x 3.80 x 1.20 (to 1.50 dependable on load) mtr, design by Gillissen, headway: 3.15 mtr (with masts lowered), steel roundbilged hull, steel/teak decks (overhauled in 1997), Hora glass windows in alum. framing, bronze opening portholes, displacement: approx. 20 tonnes, (with internal ballast), fueltanks: 2 x 900 ltrs (steel), freshwatertank: 1200 ltrs (steel), sumptank: 300 ltrs (steel), double hydraulic wheelsteering, emergency tiller.

Classic teak interior, 2 sleeping cabins (4+2 berths) with head and shower forward, wheelhouse with sliding doors on both sides and a saloon aft with dinette and galley, headroom: 1.92 to 2.10 mtr, Webasto central heating (diesel), galley with electric waterpressure system and boyler hot water (boyler operated by heater), four burner Atag electric stove, Siemens 220v grill, Sibir 24v fridge.

Daf 615 130 hp (95kW) diesel, installed in 1974, approx. 1280 runninghours, indirect coolingsystem, wet exhaust, hydraulic gearbox, s.s. propellershaft, three bladed fixed propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 8 kn, consumption approx. 8 ltr/hr, 1 x manual/1 x electric bilgepumps, 12/24/220v electrical system, 240 amp service / 130 amp starting / 70 amp generator batteries, shorepower, Constavolt 24v batterycharger, Bosh 12/24v batterycharger, shorepower, G&M diesel generator 6kva with approx. 1400 runninghours, Gebo 9 hp electric bowthruster.

Sestrel compass, VDO electric compass + repeater, VDO echosounder + repeater,, B&G log, Seafarer Seacribe echosounder, Sailor RT144 VHF (with Atis), Sailor RT109 receiver (+ radio direction finder), Decca Super 101 24nm radar, Decca Pilot 350 autopilot, Seiwa GPS with chartplotter, Philips GPS, radio/cassette player.

Liferaft for 6 persons (1994, last inspected in 1996), large single davit at the stern, lifebuoys, searchlight, heavy duty electric windlass with capstan, Bruce anchor with 60 mtr chain, spare anchor, 2 x clearview, deckwash, gangway, fenders, warps, clock, barometer, etc.

Ketch-rigged, wooden masts, s.s. standing rigging, 3 sails (main/mizzen/jib), Enkes self-tailing sheetwinches, 3 halyardwinches, mast lowering system, sailcovers. The sails are used for steadying and as an auxilary drive.
