Excellent offshore cruisingyacht by Dick Zaal. Well built by the famous Adrie Pijnen, this custom built yacht was developed for her first and only owner. He wanted to have a safe and reliable but also well performing sailing yacht. Looking at all the requirement he had, Dick Zaal and Pijnen Jachtbouw were the logical choices for him. He sailed "Louise" with his wife but this yacht is also excellent for short-handed sailing.

Epoxy composite sailingyacht Dick Zaal 41 One-off "Louise", built in 2004, commissioned 2005, Lloyds, CE-A, built by Adrie Pijnen Jachtbouw, The Netherlands, dim: 12,55 x 3,65 x 2,10 mtrs., design by Dick Zaal, hull, deck and superstructure built in epoxy composite (epoxy-foam), anti-slip on deck, teak in cockpit, fixed doghouse with two sheltered-seats, roundbilged hull, fin keel with bulb, balanced spade rudder (Jefa bearings), displacement 7,8 tonnes, ballast 3 tonnes, fueltank: 120 ltrs (stainless), freshwatertank approx 200 ltrs (stainless), sumptank 60 ltrs (stainless), tillersteering.

Classic Cherrywood interior, 2 cabins and salon, ownerscabin forward with double berth, guestcabin aft with single berth, extra 3 berths in salon (dinette can be converted into double berth), headroom; 2,25 - 1,80 - 1,50 mtrs, 1x uw-toilet and washbowl, shower, Webasto diesel ducted hot air heating (3 openings). Spacious U-shaped galley; electric waterpressure system, boiler hot water system, (220v/engine 2012), Force-10 three-burner gasstove with oven, Isotherm top-loading 12v fridge, Corian worktops.

Lomardini LDW 1404M 39 hp (33kW) diesel engine, installed in 2005, indirect cooling system, saildrive, Maxprop 3-bladed feathering propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 6 knots, consumption approx. 3,5 ltr/hr, manual bilgepump, 12/220 v electrical system, battery charger, 500 watt inverter, shorepower, solarpanel on coachroof, Vetus Maxpower bowthruster, lightning protections system.

Plastimo Contest 130 compass, Brookes & Gatehouse H-100 log, echosounder and windset, Furuno VHF (Atis and MMSI) with cockpit connection, Raymarine C-120 GPS color chartplotter combined with radar, Brookes & Gatehouse H-1000 (+Lewmar Cobra) autopilot, ICS Navtex receiver, Pioneer radio-CD-player.

Fixed doghouse for sheltered sailing, Secumar 4 persons life-raft (needs survey), two pushpit-seats, manual anchorwinch, Bruce anchor with chain, bathingplatform for easy access, boardingladder, fenders, warps, 2 x lifebuoy, cockpit table, fire extinguisher.
