GRP sailingyacht Sunbeam 39 "Windependent", built in 1997 by Schochl Yachtbau Gmbh, Austria, dim.: 12,30 (lwl 10,40) x 3,90 x 2,00 mtrs, design by Georg Nissen and Schochl, built to Germany Lloyds 100A5 class specifications, grp hull, deck and superstructure, teak decks and on coachroof and cockpit, roundbilged hull, balanced spade rudder with skeg, finkeel with bulb, displacement: 9 tonnes, ballast: 2,65 tonnes, fueltank: 200 ltrs (s.s.), freshwatertank: 450 ltrs (3 x s.s.), sumptank: 50 ltrs (s.s.), mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.
Classic Sapelli handcrafted mahogany interior, 2 cabins and saloon, 4(+2) berths, forward cabin with ensuite shower, head and washbasin, aft (owners) cabin with centreline double berth (1.60 x 2.00 mtrs) and ensuite shower, head and washbasin. Interior has ample stowage space, headroom (1,95 mtrs) and seating area. The dinette can be converted into a double berth. Visserman Reflex stainless diesel cabinheater, galley has electric waterpressure system, boyler hot water system (220v/engine), large Isotherm 12v fridge with holdingplate and two burner gasstove with oven. She has Alcantara upholstery and the finishing and design of the interior is above standard high quality finishing by Schochl.
Yanmar 4JH2 48 hp (35kW) diesel, installed in 1997, approx. 2600 runninghours, indirect coolingsystem, mechanical gearbox, s.s. propellershaft, Gori Maxprop feathering three bladed propeller ('01), cruisingspeed approx. 7 knots, consumption approx. 3,5 ltr/hr, manual bilgepump, electric bilgepump, ermegency bilgepump fitting on engine, 12/220v electrical system, 3 x 120amp service / 1 x 88amp start batteries ('07), shorepower with dividing transformator, 50amp automatic batterycharger ('00), 800 watt 12->220v inverter ('02), windgenerator (10-25amp).
Suunto pedestal compass, Simrad log, echosounder and windset, Shipmate RS8400 VHF (no Atis), Icom handheld VHF (with Atis), Robertson AP300X autopilot ('01), Simrad RS2400TFT chartplotter with gps and Simrad/Anritsu radar (with cockpit display), lap-top connection for gps, Fastnett SSB FMD50 receiver with Navtex function, B&O radio/cd player, gsm/mobile phone connection.
Fixed windscreen with sprayhood and cockpitcover ('05), lifebuoy, 1000 watt electric windlass with cockpit controls and "easy-launch/stowe" bowfitting, 23kg Bruce anchor with 50 mtr. chain, boardingladder, bathingplatform, hot-cold deckshower, 3-colour masthead light, fenders, warps, cockpit table, clock, barometer, Huckel 40 radar reflector, etc.
Sloop-rigged, Sparcraft aluminium double spreader mast, s.s. standing rigging, Reckmann genoa furler ('00), isolated backstay, 5 sails: main (dacron/mylar '97) / furling genoa (dacron/mylar '97) / high aspect jib with self-tacking rail ('97) / stormjib ('01) / gennaker with squeezer ('97), "Easy-stowe-bag" with lazy Jacks for main, slabreefing for main, rodkicker boomvang, mechanical backstay adjuster, 2 x Harken 48CST sheet winches, 2 x Harken 42CST halyard winches, winch for reefing lines, spi-pole stowed on mast, gennaker-pole ('01).
