Bigger sistership of the known 96 series from Gib'Sea. Larger accommodations below decks with a large saloon and three full size double cabins, so privacy for everyone in the family. She is fitted with full furling sails, so very easy to handle under sail. It is commonly known that the designs of Joubert & Nivelt have excellent performance under sail. Equipment renewed: upholstery, sails, windows, winches, etc. Complete underwatership has been treated in 2003 with new epoxy laminate.

GRP sailingyacht Gib'Sea 106 "Oosthaven", built in 1985 by Gibert Marine France, dim.: 11,30 (lwl 9,10) x 3,60 x 1,80 mtr, design by Joubert & Nivelt, headway: approx. 15 mtr, grp hull, deck and superstructure, perspex windows in aluminium framing, roundbilged hull, fin keel, balanced spade rudder in skeg, displacement: 4.8 tonnes, ballast: 1,7 tonnes (cast iron), fueltank: 90 ltrs (s.s.), freshwatertank: 2 x 150 ltrs (polythene), Goiot mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.

Classic afromosia mahogany interior, 3 cabins and saloon, 6(+4) berths, dinette, headroom: 1.87 m, 1 x u.w.toilet and shower, Webasto diesel ducted air heating, galley: electric waterpressure system, Eno two burner gasstove and oven, Isotherm 12v fridge.

Volvo Penta 2003 28 hp (20kW) diesel, overhauled/installed in 1994, direct coolingsystem, mechanical gearbox, s.s. propellershaft with three bladed folding propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 6 kn, consumption approx. 3 ltr/hr, manual bilgepump, electric bilgepump, 2 batteries, shorepower, automatic batterycharger.

Ben pedestal compass (to be replaced), Nasa log, echosounder and windset, Navico RT6500 VHF (with Atis), Autohelm 3000 autopilot, radio/cd player (to be repaired), new Furuno GPS (yet to be installed).

Sprayhood and cockpitcover, lifebuoy, radar reflector, spares for engine, boardingladder, manual windlass, anchor with chain and line, fenders, warps, clock, barometer. Complete underwatership has been treated in 2003 with new epoxy laminate.

Sloop-rigged, Francespar aluminium double spreader mast, Top-Reff headsailfurling, Furlex mainsail stoway (1998), 4 sails: furling main De Vries Sails 1998 / furling genoa De Vries Sails 1998 / genoa III / stormjib, tackle boomvang, mechanical backstayadjuster, 2 x Anderssen 46ST self tailing sheetwinches (2002), 2 x halyardwinch, all halyards lead aft into cockpit for ease of handling.
