All the way since 1919 Skilsö Baatbyggeri has enjoyed the good reputation of building top quality boats of great seaworthiness. "Ailsa" is hardly used and has about 120 hours on the engine.

Skilsö 975 Arctic Ailsa, built in 1999 launched 2000 by Skilsö Baatbyggeri AS in Færvik Arendal - Norway, dim.: Loa 9.75 m (Lwl 9.00 m) x 3.20 m x 0.90 m, headway: 2.75 m (without mast), GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak in cockpit and on bathing platform, hardened glass windows in aluminium framing, hull: deep V, displacement: 3.6 tonnes, fuel tank: 450 litres, fresh water tank: 180 litres, sump tank: 140 litres, hydraulic wheel steering.
Classic teak interior, wheelhouse: a good sized U-sofa and double helmseat around the table + well-equipped galley with cutlery drawers and storage cupboards, under deck: round settee in front + bathroom and a double aft cabin, total 2 (+4) berths, bathroom with washbowl, shower and a Jabsco manual toilet (in waste tank), hot water through boiler (30 litres), electric water pressure system, Ardic 3000W heating, galley with sink, cool box (35 litres) and Ceran Wallas-Marin stove.
Yanmar 4LHM-STE 222 hp diesel engine, running hours: approx. 100 (31-8-2002), Hurth Marine gearbox, counters for: fuel/oil/temperature, electric bow thruster: 3 kW, hydraulic trim tabs, fire extinguisher, 2x manual and 1x electrical bilge pump, electric circuit: 12v, two batteries of 115 amp., shore power, Cadac 12v/30 amp. battery charger.
Compass, Bidata ST 30, Humminbird echosounder, Garmin 128 GPS.
Two large sliding windows in coach roof, cockpit cover, teak in cockpit, anchor with chain (approx. 5 m.) and rope, boarding ladder, swim platform with teak, deck shower (warm + cold), two wired sea railing (s.s.), two wipers, Defroster, fenders.
