A tour of the Sun Odyssey 33 will leave you wondering whether you are indeed aboard a 33-footer as you wonder how a sailboat of this size can offer such a degree of comfort and so much living space and, above all, how cozy you feel aboard the yacht. Daniel Andrieu’s quest was to design a yacht with character that would not only have potential for speed, but also a responsive helm and that all-important living space when at sea.

Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 33 "Hanne", built in 1993 by Jeanneau in France, dim.: Loa 10,30 m (Lwl 9,98 m) x 3,50 m x 1,45 m, design by Daniel Andrieu Yacht Design, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak deck, round bilged hull, fin keel, displacement: 4,7 tonnes, ballast: 1,520 kg (lead), fuel tank s/s: 65 litres, fresh water tank GRP: 290 litres, wheel steering, emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior, saloon + three cabins, 6 (+2) berths, headroom: 1,80/1,90 m, marine head with wash bowl, shower and a RM manual toilet (just outside), Eberspaecher heating, hot water through boiler (runs gas), electric water pressure system, galley with sink s/s, fridge and a three burner gas stove with oven.
Volvo Penta 2003 28 hp diesel engine, direct cooling system, propeller shaft s/s - water lubricated, fire extinguisher - must be checked, bilge pump, electric circuit: 12V/220V, batteries: 1x 74 ah + 2x 70 ah, shore power, battery charger.
Plastimo compass, Autohelm echosounder, Autohelm log, Autohelm wind set: speed + direction + close hauled, Shipmate RS8100 VHF (Atis?), Philips AP Navigator, Siemens SSB receiver, Furuno 1621 radar, Yeoman chart plotter, Autohelm ST4000 autopilot.
Sprayhood, cockpit cover, anchor with anchor chain, boarding ladder, bathing platform, two wired sea railing s/s, fenders, Wempe barometer, clock and thermo/hygro meter.
Sloop rigged, aluminium mast, fittings s/s, standing rig s/s, head sail furling system, main sail with Lazy Jacks, genoa, manual reefing system, backstay adjuster, boomvang, winches: 2x Lewmar 44 ST - two speed + 1x Harken 8 one speed.
