Depicted as a sailing "classic", the Spirit 36 has earned itself the right to be called a first class sailing yacht with pedigree. Designed for fast, but safe, cruising in comfort, design by Jac. de Ridder. Mahogany interior, saloon + three cabins, 5 (+2) berths, headroom saloon: approx. 1.90 m, Webasto hot air heating. Second owner, she has never been raced or chartered and is little used, every winter stored inside (heated).

GRP sailing yacht, Spirit 36 "Onder Zeil" 9 (owners version II), built in 1989 by Bootbouwerij A.J. van Heygen in Boom - Belgium, building number: 24, dim.: Loa 11.30 m (Lwl 9.25 m) x 3.66 m x 1.69 m, design by Jac. de Ridder, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak on cockpit floor and benches, safety glass windows in aluminium framing, two extra portholes, round bilged hull with teak rubbing list, shallow draft fin keel, displacement: approx. 5,850 tonnes, ballast: approx. 2.4 tonnes (cast iron - epoxy treated), Antifouling renewed december 2009, fuel tank capacity: 75 litres (s.s. tank), fresh water capacity: 2x 130 litres (s.s. tank with inspection hole), waste tank capacity: 90 litres with vacuum generator, Whitlock pedestal, wheel steering, emergency tiller.
Mahogany interior, saloon + three cabins, 5 (+2) berths, headroom saloon: approx. 1.90 m, Webasto hot air heating (diesel), electric water pressure system.
Cozy saloon with a L-shaped settee to port side, a bench and navigation table to starboard side. Settee with extra high backrest, curtains with wooden support.
Large L-shaped galley with double s.s. sink, 12v refrigerator, three burner gas stove.
Marine head with a wash bowl and a Sealand toilet.
Sole Mini 26 - 3 cylinders 26 hp diesel engine with indirect cooling / heat exchanger, one handle engine control, Max Prop two bladed folding propeller, fire extinguisher, manual bilge pump, batteries of 2010: 1x start+ 2 service, shore power, battery charger, battery monitor.
Compass on pedestal, 2x Autohelm ST50 Multi, Autohelm ST50 Tridata, Autohelm ST50 wind set, Autohelm ST50 VMG, Autohelm ST7000 autopilot, Shipmate VHF with Atis, Navtex, Sony stereo with CD player, Sony SSB receiver, GPS inside + GPS / plotter screen outside. High Gain radar reflector.
Spray sails, cockpit table, boarding ladder (s.s.), two wired sea railing (s.s.), clock and barometer.
Sloop rigged, double spreader aluminium mast with 8mm standing rigging, Furlex headsail furling system, sails: full battened main sail (’01), genoa II ('01) genoa I, spinnaker (’84), hydraulic back stay adjuster, isolated backstay, boom vang, self tailing winches, extra genoa slide's, complete spinnaker equipment, Windex.
