Excellent in design, performance and craftmanship. The Contest 36S is built acoording to Lloyds rules in the Lloyd's approved Conyplex factory. Designed by Dick Zaal, the concept of the Contest 36S is a comfortable sailing yacht with extremely comfortable living accommodations. She will suit the demanding yachtsman in every aspect. Her shallow draft wing keel gives her limitless cruising possibilities without loosing performance under sail. Teakdeck renewed in 1997, all navaids like radar, navtex, ssb. Recent set of sails from De Vries.

GRP sailingyacht Contest 36S ''Doggersbank'', built in 1985 by Conyplex, Holland, designed by Dick Zaal, dim.: 10.92 (lwl 8.90) x 3.55 x 1.40m., headway: 16.05m, GRP hull, superstructure and deck lead with teak. The teakdeck has been renewed in 1997, round bilged hull, wing keel, displacement approx. 7.8 Tonnes, ballast approx. 3.5 Tonnes, fueltank approx. 150 ltrs., fresh water tank approx. 250 ltrs., Whitlock Cobra mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.

Classic teak interior, 2 cabins and saloon, 4(+2) berths, headroom approx. 1.95m., RM69 manual u.w. toilet, Eberspeacher heating (diesel), galley with electric/manual waterpressure system, boiler hot water system (220v + engine), Nautic three burner gasstove with oven, Frigomatic 12v fridge, crockery. The luxurious interior is in teak. The passage below deck to the very spacious aft cabin is an oustanding featre of the Contest 36S.
