GRP motorsailor type: Dartsailer 38 "Smaragd", built in 1978 by Holland Boat Company in Hardinxveld/Giesendam, dim.: 12.00 x 3.75 x 1.55 m, headway approx. 13.90 m, designed by W. de Vries Lentsch, GRP hull and superstructure, teak laid decks, teak doghouse with aluminium framed green windows, Gebo hatches, displacement approx. 13 tonnes, ballast approx. 5,5 tonnes, fuel capacity approx. 450 ltrs., water capacity approx. 150 ltrs., Whitlock steering (2001), inside and outside steering positions.

Classic teak interior with blue upholstery (new cushions in 2001), headroom approx. 1.90/1.95 m, accommodation for four persons in two double cabins, plus two saloon/deckhouse berths (new matrasses 2001), saloon with table seating 6 persons, galley with Engel 80 ltr. refrigerator with compressor, 3-burner gas stove and oven, Jabsco manual toilet (renovated 2001), Webasto diesel interior heater, hot and cold waterpressure system, hot water calorifier of engine and shorepower.

DAF 575 6 cylinder 105hp diesel engine, approx. 3.000 running hours, overhauled in 2002, 150 engine hours since overhaul, double steering consoles, speed approx 7.5 knots, 24 Volt Cramm Leeuwarden bowthruster with two Twinprop batteries (1999), manual and electric bilge pumps, 12/24 Volt electric system, 12/24 Volt invertor, 240 Volt circuit breakers, shore power, four batteries (2002), Mastervolt battery charger (2001), Mass 24/50 Ah. automatic battery charger.

Whitlock compass, Autohelm depth/speed/log instruments, NASA wind speed/wind direction instruments (2002), Shipmate 8300 VHF, Sailor VHF, Shipmate 5700 GPS with repeater, Sailor SSB, NASA SSB, Navico autopilot with repeater, Furuno 1800 radar, Renauld combi antenna, radar reflector, Sony radio/cd player.

Sun awning (2004), awning cover over complete doghouse, cover over second steering console, new exterior upholstery (2004), stainless steel and teak bathing platform with ladder, deck shower, Plastimo/Marin Assist 4-person liferaft in container, 4 lifejackets, horse shoe lifering, Muir Atlantic series electric windlass with remote control unit (2002), Danforth anchor with 60 m chain, spare anchor with rope, engine spares, clock, barometer, thermometer.

Ketch-rigged, aluminium masts (1988), stainless steel fittings, wire rigging, manual stoway system on mainsail (2001), manual Furlex furling system on genoa and jib, mizzen with lazy jacks (2001), sails: De Vries Sails Grou standard (genoa-jib-mizzen 2002), two Lewmar ST 44 sheet winches (2001), two Barbarossa winches on mast, Lewmar ST 16 winch on mizzen (2002), manual winches, spinnaker boom.
