Nauticat 43, built in 1984 by Siltala Yachts in Finland, designed by Sparkman & Stephens, LOA 13.00m (42'6), LWL 10.00m (32'8), beam 4.20m (13'8), draft 1.90m (6'2), GRP hull and superstructure, teak decks, displacement 15 tons, 1,000 litres (220 Imp gallons) fuel capacity, 800 litres (176 Imp gallons) fuel capacity, two holding tanks.
Accommodation for six persons in three double cabins, plus convertible double bed in dinette, wc/showerroom aft, head forward, deck saloon with U-shaped setee and nav station, dinette opposite galley, galley with 12v compact fridge, 220v fridge, 3-burner gas stove and oven, microwave, washing machine.
Air-conditioning in aft cabin.
Ford 6 cylinder 120 hp diesel, approx. 3,900 engine hours (10.04), maximum speed approx. 8.5 knots, cruising speed 7.5 knots, Borg Warner gearbox, 2-bladed bronze propeller bowthruster, HFL 6 kw generator, approx. 230 engine hours (10.04), three 220 ah gel service battery bank, one 220 ah gel engine battery, one 180 ah gel generator battery, one 70 ah gel electronic equipment battery, automatic battery charger, 220v shore power.
Suunto magnetic compass, Neco electric compass, VDO echosounder and log, VDO wind indicator, Neco autopilot with inside and outside controls, all indicators have outside repeaters, Twinscope sonar, Neco rudder indicator with repeater, Horizon DSC VHF, Sailor VHF, Fastnet FMD20 Navtex, Magnavox GPS, Raytheon RL70 radar with two screens mounted inside and outside, RR antenna system, Euronav SeaPro navigation software.
Complete sun awning, sprayhood, 6-person liferaft, Zodiac 3.00m hard-bottom dinghy with cover, Yamaha 4 hp outboard, Simpson Lawrence 150 kg davits, stainless steel crane for outboard, Neco windlass, CQR anchor, Danforth anchor, 70m anchor chain, 2.50m stainless steel/teak gangway, 1.00m long swim platform with stainless steel ladder which can also be mounted on the bow or sides, folding wooden cockpit table.
Cutter rigged ketch, silber anodised alloy masts, Reckmann rigging, hydraulic furling on genoa, hydraulic in-mast furling on main, in-mast furling on mizzen, self-tacking staysail. Sails: mainsail, genoa, spare genoa, all sails in excellent condition having been hardly used. Two Lewmar 54 electric winches, two Lewmar 46 2-speed winches, two Andersen winches on main mast, two Anderson winches on mizzen.
