Vri-jon 40 Contessa "Kassandra", steel motoryacht, built in 1991, built by Vri-jon Ossenzijl, the Netherlands. Dimensions: approx. 12.10 x 3.80 x 1.20 m., airdraft 4.50 m., minimum airdraft approx. 2.75 m., capacity fuel tanks approx. 600 l, capacity water tanks approx 400 l., stainless steel water tank, capacity holding tank approx. 500 l, boiler approx. 70 l, hot and cold pressurised water. Hydraulic steering system. The yacht has cork decks which give both warmth and sound insolation. Swivel chair for outside steering position.
Entrance via aft deck, steps down to saloon with dark blue carpet, dark blue curtains and L-shaped settee. Many lockers so large storage capacity. Gas heating. Headroom approx. 1.95 m. Hot water (capacity boiler approx. 70 l.) heated by engine and 220 V. Steering position to aft with teak steering wheel, dashboard with control panel for lights, bilge alarm, fuel gage, bow thruster. Steps down aft to master cabin with double berth with slatted base, dressing table and wardrobes. Bathroom with manual toilet, shower and sink with hot and cold pressurized water. Steps down foreward to galley with Cramer 4 burner gas stove, Moulinex oven, Brown coffee maker, Electrolux fridge with freezer inside, extractor. U-shaped dinette opposite which can be converted to a double berth. Spacious guest cabin forward.
Single DAF 6 cylinder 120 hp diesel engine, engine type 615, engine overhauled in 2000 (papers available). Hydraulic gearbox, stainless steel propeller shaft, new prop shaft bearing in 2000, bronze propeller. Maximum speed approx. 8 knots, consumption approx. 7l/h at 1700 revs. Intercooling system with heath exchanger. 2 x 24 Volt start batteries, battery charger (secured against over charging). Ship's voltage 12, 24 and 220 Volt, shore power, Mastervolt 24/1500 inverter, electric bow thruster, manual anchor winch.
Auto helm autopilot (for both inside and outside steering position), rudder indicator, autopilot connected to GPS, Shipmate VHF (not working), Icom hand VHF, Magellan 3000 XL GPS, Roeco compass.
Stainless steel davits, locker in front deck for two large gas bottles. Shore power. Stereo CD player with speakers in the saloon and master cabin. Bimini, cockpit cover. Search light. Manual windlass, anchor with chain. Stainless steel boarding ladder to bathing platform. Deck shower. Gangways. Stainless steel guardrail. Fenders and mooring lines. Charts. 2 x fire extinguisher.
