The Bavaria 34 C2 is a popular and much-appreciated design. She's an exceptionally well-equipped family cruiser with furling headsail and in-mast furling mainsail. Her two-cabin layout makes her ideal for family cruising providing privacy and comfort. If you are looking for a sound 34 ft yacht, with many extras for extensive cruising or for just sailing local waters. "Zoë" is well worth looking at, photos of her will follow as soon as possible.

GRP sailing yacht Bavaria 34 C2 "Zoë", launched June 2000, built by Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH in Giebelstad - Germany, dim.: Loa 10,80 m (Lwl 8,45 m) x 3,48 m x 1,35 m, headway: approx. 14,54 m. J&J Design, built under Lloyds number CE: A. GRP hull, superstructure and deck, side deck and coach roof with anti-slide structure, teak on seat thwarts and cockpit floor, Plexiglas windows in aluminium framing, four deck hatches (two large +two small), 6 side windows to open, white round-bilged hull with blue striping, displacement: approx. 4.5 tonnes, ballast: approx.1.4 tonnes (cast iron), fuel capacity: approx. 90 litres (GRP), fresh water capacity: approx. 2x 150 litres (GRP), fuel and fresh water level indicator, Whitlock mechanical wheel steering, steering wheel with leather cover, streamlined rudder with for balance, rudder stock with self-adjusting pendulum bearings, emergency tiller.

Mahogany interior, saloon + front and aft cabin, 4 (+2) berths, head room: approx. 1,85 m. Saloon with comfortable settee and luxuriously styled saloon table, side boards with stowage space and lockers, Webasto hot air heating (2.500W). Chart table with large compartment for nautical charts and navigation instruments, chart table seat with stowage for tools and book shelf. Marine head with easy-care synthetic surfaces, wash bowl, shower, manual pump toilet and a large wet locker. Electric pressure water pump with pump filter, hot water through boiler (20 litres/800 W) - runs on 220V and engine. U-shaped galley to port with a single stainless steel sink, two burner gas stove (thermal saved) with oven (stainless steel) and refrigerator (120 litres), stowage for dishes, pots and waste bucket, self-draining gas cylinder container, two gas bottles.

Volvo Penta MD2030 3 cylinder 29 hp diesel engine of 2000 (approx. 270 engine hours), engine always maintained by professionals, Sail drive, gear box 120S-D (2,48:1), mechanical engine control, indirect cooling system, standard filter + water separator + a fine fuel filter (20080, Max prop 3-bladed propeller, cruising speed under power: approx. 5 knots at 2.000 Rpm / maximum speed: approx 6.5 knots at 3.300 RPM, engine hours and REV counter.. Electric circuit: 12 Volt DC and 220 Volt AC ships circuit, shore power with earth leakage breaker, Mastervolt 25 A battery charger, Lead maintenance free service battery: 2x 135 amp (1x 2006 + 1x June 2008), Lead start battery: 1x 60 amp. (2005/2006). One electric + one manual bilge pump, three fire extinguishers (approx. 1,5 kg each).

Seldén aluminium two spreader mast, Seldén boom, Seldén Furlex 200S furling system, Elvström sails: in-mast reefing mainsail, furling genoa (with UV-protection) and a High Aspect, back stay adjuster, Seldén boom vang, fittings stainless steel, standing rig stainless steel, winches: 2x self tailing working winches + 2x self tailing genoa winches - two speed. Tensioners and lines led to the cockpit.
