When Van der Poel left the Klaassen Shipyard to start for himself he wanted to build the best quality kotters and vlets that were on the market that days. His products became wellknown under the name Stella Maris. The Bontekoe is the only vlet he built and therefore she became a special place in his hart.

Steel motoryacht STELLA MARIS VLET "Bontekoe", built in 1979, dim approx.: 11,50 x 3,80 x 1,20 m, built by J.H. van de Poel - Hazerswoude/NL, displacement approx. 14 tonnes, blue roundbilged hull, teak decks, steel superstructure, windows in aluminium frames, fuel tank capacity approx. 800 litres in 1 steel tank, water tank capacity approx. 500 litres in 2 stainless steel tanks, steel sump tank (not connected), mechanical wheelsteering, Van Voorden hydraulic bowthruster.

Mahogany interior, forecabin with V-shaped berth and new matresses, bathroom on port with toilet and shower, galley on steerport with 4 burner gas stove, extractor fan, refridgerator (on gas), salon with steering position on port, navigation seat and dinette on steerport, Philips radio/casette player, Grundig tv (12/24/220V), aft cabin with 2 single berths.

Single Daf 105 hp DD575 M 6 cilinder diesel engine, approx. 1900 engine hours, built in 1979, keelcooled with dry exhaust, hydraulic gearbox, 1 electric bilge pump, 1 manual bilge pump, electric circuit 24V, 4 x 120 ah batteries, shorepower, batterycharger, inverter 24V to 12V, Eberspacher hot-air heating, water pressure system by hydrofoor, hotwater system by geyser.

2x VDO electric compass, echosounder, VDO log (not working properly), VDO windset (not working properly), Sailor VHF, Scan Pilot AH 105 autopilot (only working through remote control), rudder indication, manuel searchlight, 2x wipers, clearview, window fan.
