In 1961 the "Budi" is built by shipyard Nicolaas. Witsen in Alkmaar in honor of Prince Bernard his 50th birthday. The ship is seaworthy and comfortable. The large teak deck accommodates a large number of guests. In 2010 the ship was fully restored, with respect to the the original lay out. The two engines are also overhauled . After the overhauling, the 'Budi' was stored inside.
