This Maxi 999 is a friendly family yacht, combining nice accommodation and sailperformance with ease of handling and Swedish craftsmanship. Good headroom in the saloon, not often seen on a yacht this size, lots of stowagespace. Sumptious cockpit, all hallyards lead aft for easy handling when under way. Designed by Pelle Petersson, the Olympic champion.

General
GRP sailing yacht Maxi 999, built in 1988 by Pelle Pettersson AB, Sweden, designed by Pelle Pettersson, dim: 9.90 (lwl 8.20) x 3.25 x 1.70m., GRP hull, superstructure and deck, perspex windows, round bilged hull, fin keel, displacement: 4.2 tonnes, ballast: 1.5 tonnes, fueltank: 50 ltrs, fresh water tank: 100 ltrs., headway approx. 14.90m., tiller steering.

Classic teak interior, 2 cabins and saloon, 4(+2) berths, Par manual u.w. toilet, Wallas 4200 heating, galley with Eno two burner gasstove and oven, manual waterpressure system, fridge. Nicely crafted teak interior.

Volvo Penta 2002 18hp (13Kw) diesel engine, engine built in 1988, direct cooling system, 2 cylinder, saildrive, two baded propeller (To be renewed), 1 x manual bilge pump, 12v/220v electrical system, 2 x 70 amp batteries (1 x service battery to be renewed), shore power (No earth leakage breaker), autmatc battery charger.

Silva 1000 compass, Silva log and echosounder, VHF prepared, Autohelm 2000 autopilot, radio/cassette player.

Sprayhood (renewed), anchor, s.s. boarding ladder, clock, barometer, cockpit table, teak in cockpit (to be overhauled).

Fractional-rigged, Selden alum. mast, s.s. standing rigging, Furlex 200S headsailfurling, 3 sails: main / genoa, self tacking jib, slab reefing system for main, tackle boomvang, tackle backstayadjuster, Lewmar 40 sheetwinches, Lewmar 16 halyardwinches, spi-pole, cover for main and genoa.
