Sea Anne for sale
De Valk International has been appointed Central Agent for the sale of the lovely 23.00-metre classic sailyacht Sea Anne. Currently berthed in southern Spain, this cutter-rigged sloop was built by the renowned American yard Hinckley and has been fully equipped to today’s standards. The fact that Sea Anne has MCA classification makes her ideal for chartering.
Conceived in the style of a Gentleman's Yacht of the 1920s, Sea Anne is a modern yet truly timeless classic. "This carbon rigged beauty has been professionally maintained and has comprehensive service records," says Robert Drontmann, who is responsible for the sale at De Valk International. "With her graceful overhangs, elegant sheer, beautiful varnished butterfly hatches, low sleek pilothouse and gleaming stainless fittings, she must surely be the best priced classic sailing yacht under 25 metres currently available on the market."
Sea Anne also has a gorgeous interior, finished in polished Honduran mahogany with white deckheads, bronze light fittings and a solid teak cabin sole. Large and well-lit, the master suite is situated forward of the mast and fitted with large twin beds, ample storage, a writing desk and an ensuite bathroom with separate shower. The main guest cabin is forward and also ensuite, while the two twin bunk cabins share a bathroom. There is also a crew cabin that doubles as a storage area for those traveling without staff. Dining tables in the main salon and raised pilothouse offer a choice of entertainment locations.
Comfortable underway and at anchor, the outlook from Sea Anne’s pilothouse is superb. Generous headroom and numerous hatches give a feeling of space and freshness that many larger yachts would envy. Conceived as a cruising yacht, Sea Anne also performs outstandingly in all winds.
"With such a comprehensive range of attributes available at just over one million euros, Sea Anne is sure to attract a buyer regardless of the economic climate," concludes Drontmann. "She represents a wonderful investment in pleasure and is likely to more than hold her value when the markets bounce."
