Steel double ender sailingyacht Devotion 37 "Komeet", built in 1995-97 by Devomill and Engelaar, The Netherlands, dim.: 11,20 (loa 12.00 with Yankee Pullpit, lwl 9,90) x 3,50 x 1,85 mtrs, design by F. de Vos, steel hull (6-5-4 mm), deck and superstructure, teakdecks (glued), foam insulation, portholes in alum. framing, traditionallly bilged keel and hull, displacement approx. 10 tonnes, ballast: tonnes, fueltanks: 400 ltrs (steel), freshwatertanks: 300 ltrs (s.s. and polythylene), sumptank: 100 ltrs (with deck-extraction and macerator pump), hydraulic wheelsteering with emergency tiller.
Classic mahogany interior, 1 cabin forward, 2 (+2) berths, saloon with U-shaped settee, 1 x u.w.toilet, Eberspacher diesel ducted air heating, headroom: 1,88 mtrs, galley with Corian worktops: double stainless steel sinks, electric waterpressure system, two burner electric stove (220v), boiler hot water system (220v+engine), large fridge with freezer compartment, combi microwave oven. Forward the interior has ample room, aft for extra storage and possibly two extra berths.
BMW D50 55 hp (40kW) diesel, installed in 1995, approx. 160 runninghours, indirect coolingsystem, mechanical gearbox, three bladed fixed propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 6,5 knots, consumption approx. 4 ltr/hr, manual/electric bilgepump, 12/220v electrical system, 1 x start / 4 x service (2007) / 1 x generator battery, Vetus 220v diesel generator (to be installed), shorepower, Victron 12v/50amp automatic batterycharger with 2500 watt 220v invertor.
Whitlock pedestal compass, Simrad log and echosounder, Simrad windset (defect), Simrad/Anritsu radar, Vetus GPS, Vetus autopiloot (defect), Furuno NX500 Navtex printer, radio-cd player, Icom IC-M58 VHF, Skanti VHF.
Sprayhood (needs some repair), CQR anchor with chain, electric windlass with capstan with cockpit control, rigid stainless steel searailing with teak caprail, liferaft in container, fenders, warps, TV, radio/cassette with cd-changer, etc.
Ketch-cutter-rigged, 2 x Furlex furlers for genoa and staysail, Seldén masts with standing rigging, 4 De Vries Sails 1999; full batten main Offshore / furling yankee with shape tape and uv strip / furling staysail with uv strip / full batten mizzen, covers for main and mizzen, slabreefing for main, Rodkicker boomvang, 2 x Meissner selftailing sheetwinches, 4 x Meissner selftailing halyard winches, extra electric self-tailing winch at cockpit for miscellaneous jobs, isolated backstay.
