GRP sailing yacht Contest 48 CS, built in 2001 by Conyplex The Netherlands, dim.: 14,75 (lwl 12,40) x 4,25 x 2,05 m, designed by Dick Zaal, built to Lloyds specifications, CE Cat A certification, headway approx. 23 m, GRP hull (dark blue), deck and superstructure, teak deck and teak in cockpit, toughened thermopane glass windows in aluminum framing, bulb keel, displacement approx. 18,3 tonnes, ballast approx 5,8 tonnes, fueltank approx. 600 ltrs (stainless), freshwatertank: 2 x 370 ltrs (polythelene), sump tank (forward toilet) approx. 40 ltr with deck extraction, Whitlock mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior, 3 cabins and semi-raised saloon, master cabin in the aft with centreline double berth with slatted matrass, ensuite electric toilet, washbasin and seperate shower, Two guestcabins forward (V-berth and bunk berths) with ensuite electric toilet, washbasin and seperate shower. Lots of cupboardspace, hanging lockers and stowage space throughout. Headroom: 1,95 - 2,00 mtr. Webasto cabin heaters (diesel ducted hot air heating) forward and aft. Sleeps total 7 berths (6+1).
