"True Blue", an elegant sturdy Van de Stadt design, is a beautiful example of Dutch craftsmanship. The interior is made to high standards and lives up to the high expectations of the modern day yacht owner. She has had significant upgrades in the last couple of years and brought her owner lots of sailing fun. Classic mahogany interior, saloon + three cabins. Steel sailing yacht Van de Stadt 44 "True Blue", launched in 1997, hull built in 1990 by Kempers, interior by Jachtwerf De Nieuwe Haven in Woubrugge, dim.: 14,00 m (Lwl approx. 12,00 m) x 4,10 m x 1,95 m, steel hull, superstructure and deck, Perspex windows in stainless steel framing, round bilged hull, dark blue, displacement: approx. 15 tonnes, ballast: 6 tonnes (lead), fuel tank: 250 litres (steel), fresh water tank: 450 litres (stainless steel), preparation for sump tank, hydraulic wheel steering.
Classic mahogany interior, saloon + three cabins, 5 berths, headroom: 1,85/2,15 m, marine head with wash bowl, shower and manual under water toilet, Webasto heating, hot water through boiler - 25 litres (runs on 220v/engine), electric water pressure system, galley with sink, fridge (approx. 240 litres), Force 10 three burner gas stove and an extractor (220v).
Cummins 85 hp diesel engine of 1989 - overhauled in 2000, Velvet gearbox - reduction 2,1:1, consumption: cruising speed: approx. 3 litres per hour and maximum speed: approx. 6 litres per hour, Maxprop folding propeller, three bladed bronze propeller as spare, propeller shaft stainless steel, Vetus 8 hp electric bow thruster of 2002, fire extinguisher, deck wash, two electric bilge pumps, one engine and 8 light batteries, shore power, Mastervolt 80 amp. battery charger, invertor 750 W., Mastervolt Whisper 3500 generator, double fuel filters, double water strainer.
KVH electric compass, KVH echo sounder + log, KVH wind set: speed, Shipmate RS8300 VHF with Atis, Streamline ST400 GPS connected with Raytheon RL70 pathfinder, radar, rudder indicator, Autohelm 6000+ autopilot. Garmin GPS, connection for iPod, SSB radio.
Sprayhood, cockpit cover, Windex, life lines, electric windlass, approx. 60 m anchor chain, Spade anchor, extra anchor, boarding ladder stainless steel, bathing platform, deck shower (hot + cold water), two wired sea railing (extra heavy), stereo with CD player, speakers in- and outside. Yam 260 dinghy, Yamaha 4 hp outboard, spare parts and tools, sun cover from mast to the aft deck.
Sloop - cutter rigged, Brasker aluminium mast, stainless steel granny bars around the mast, Harken fittings stainless steel, Harken MK2 furling system, furling system for cutter jib, Hagoort sails: main sail + genoa + cutter jib - all of 1997, Booster - made by Schokker Volendam in 2003, Harken winches: 2x 53 ST + 1x 46 ST + 2x 44 ST + 1x 40 ST + 2x 40, spi pole.
