This vessel was built by Halmatic on their standard Nelson 40 hull in 1975 for service in Belgium. The hull is of a semi displacement form, which has been proven worldwide to be exceptionally sea kindly, and has the ability to be pushed at high speed through poor weather conditions. The hull is very heavily fendered all round with rubber D section fendering. The vessel is twin screw being conventionally driven by two 180hp Cumming diesels. This configuration allows for a very high degree of manoeuvrability and speed.
