The Watson 46.9 lifeboat named Joseph De Waye is a fascinating piece of maritime history. Built in 1956, it is remarkable that this lifeboat has been preserved in good and original condition. Watson class lifeboats, like this one, were known for their sturdiness and reliability. The fact that this particular vessel saved as many as 88 lives underscores its value and significance.

Based upon an already very well design in the series of Waarschip sailing yachts, "Adventure" has many special features; improved mahogany/marineply/epoxy construction, lengthened hull, bathing platform, fixed doghouse, improved lead keel, taller rigg and added performance.
