Fast Frers design built by Hylas Yachts. Ample space on deck and below with 2 large sleeping cabins and saloon with ample stowage space. Spaciouse flush decks with ample workspace and heavy duty deck hardware and winches. The blue finished hull has been Awlgrip painted in 2006.

General
GRP sailingyacht Frers 51 "Magic", built in 1992 by Hylas Yachts Taiwan, dim.: 15,45 (lwl 12,19) x 4,69 x 2,60 mtr, design by German Frers, mastheight above waterline: 23 mtrs, grp hull, deck and superstructure, teak on deck and cockpit, toughened glass windows in s.s. frames, opening deckhatches and portholes, roundbilged hull, fin keel, balanced spade rudder, displacement: 15,8 tonnes, ballast: 7,3 tonnes (lead), fueltanks: 2 x 200 ltrs (grp), freshwatertanks: 2 x 200 ltrs (grp), sumptank with deck extraction, Edson mechanical wheelsteering with detroyer type, leather covered steeringwheel, emergency tiller.
Handcrafted teak interior, 2 cabins with ample sleeping arrangemens for 11 people. The aft cabin from port to starboard with headroom in the centre. On both sides adjustable bunk beds, the beds below are made larger for two persons. The aft cabin has a separate head compartment on starboard including shower and can be entered from the aft cabin as well as from the saloon. The forward cabin has four adjustable bunk beds and several stowage lockers on starboard side. In front is a separate compartment for sail stowage, ropes etc. A separate head compartment with shower is present. Headroom throughout; 1,90-1,98 mtrs. Webasto HL24/32D diesel ducted hot air heater (defect).
The saloon has an L-shaped and straight settee. Behind the straight settee a fixed bunk bed is present. Lots of stowage space-cupboards behind the seats.
Galley: ample counters space and cupboards, an electric waterpressure system with hot water boiler (220v/engine), double s.s. sinks, footpump, a Force 10 three burner gasstove with oven, Frigoboat 24/220v top and front loading fridge with holdingplate, Frigoboat 24/220v toploading freezer unit with holdingplate, ample crockery.
Yanmar 4JH2HT 75 hp (55 kW) diesel, installed in 1992, approx. 1450 runninghours, indirect coolingsystem, mechanical gearbox (overhaul 2009), s.s. propellershaft, three bladed MaxProp feathering propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 7 knots, consumption approx. 3,5 ltr/hr, manual and electric bilgepumps, 12-24-230v electrical system, 4 x servicebatteries (420amp 2008) / 1 x startbattery (110amp 2009), shorepower, Victron 35amp automatic batterycharger, Victron 1500 watt (24->230v) inverter.
Ritchie pedestal compass, complete Brookes & Gatehouse set of sailinstruments with repeaters and Jumbo displays comprising log, echosounder and winset, Brookes & Gatehouse Hydra autopilot (all refurbished in 2008) Icom IC-M505 VHF (with Atis) and cockpithorn (2009), Icom IC-M31 portable VHF (2009), Garmin 4012 colour chartplotter with GPS (2009), Navtex + Weatherman display receivers, AIS transponder and receiver displayed on chartplotter.
Sprayhood, searchlight (24v 200W), Sony radio/cd player, 2x Seasave 6 persons liferafts (last inspection 07-2008), lifebuoys, safetylines, CQR anchor with 30mtr chain and 100 mtr line (operable through electric winch), boardingladder, fenders, mooringlines, spare parts, tools, clock, barometer, radar reflector, cockpit cushions, cockpit table, charts, fire extinguishers, etc.
Sloop-rigged, Proctor white coated triple spreader mast, s.s. standing rigging, Reckmann genoa furler, Navtec hydraulic backstayadjuster, boomvang and inner-forestay tensioner, Barient winches; 2 x 37ST electric primary sheetwinches, 2 x 32ST secondary sheetwinches, 2 x 27ST sheetwinches, 6 x 27ST+2 x 24ST halyardwinches, carbon fibre spi-pole, aluminium jockey-pole, mainsail cover (2009), slabreefing for mainsail, Harken deckhardware and mainsheet-traveller.
