General
Steel motortjalk, named "MOONLIGHT", type Groninger tjalk, built in 1903, completely refitted in 2002 at the Mekon shipyard in Lemmer. Rebuilt to a design of Willem Nieland. Steel hull, steel superstructures steel and teak decks, dim. approx. 19,49 x 4,05 x 0,70 m.,headway 2,95 m., these dimensions make cruising in France possible, thermopane windows in brass frames, capacity fuel tank approx. 2 x 800 lires, capacity watertank approx. 2 x 400 litres, capacity sumptank approx. 150 litres.
Charming teak interior, oak floors finished with ornamental line, headroom approx. 2,10 m., spacious saloon with settee and chairs, entrance by folding doors, roomy dining area with large table and chairs for 4, galley fitted with granite worktop, 4 burner cooker Ceran cooker, Electrolux fridge, extractor, water pressure by 24 V. hydrofor, hot water by central heating, owners cabin with double bed and large wardrobe, 2 x guestcabin with double bed, heating by centrall heating and convectors, toilet and separate bathroom with shower and washbowl.
Single DAF 120 hp diesel engine, engine type 615, mechanic gearbox, Phyton drive, bin-cooling, 3-bladed bronze propeller, speed 7-8 knots, consumption approx. 10 litres per hour, 16 hp bowthruster, ships electric circuit 12/24/220 Volt, 25 A/24 V alternator on engine, Mastervolt charger/inverter: 35A-24/12V/2000 W, Mastervolt 6 kW generator, shore power, start battery: 2 x 200Ah, servicebattery: 6 x 200Ah.
