Very much appreciated Dutch "Classic" from Frans Maas. There are not many yachts who can compete with the interior space of the Compromis 999 in its class. With her centrecockpit and large aftcabin, the 999 was a classic in the making upon introduction. An abundance of stowage space, headroom and generally a well conceived yacht. Excellent condition!

GRP sailingyacht Compromis 999 "Odyssey", built in 1994 by Jachtwerf Zaadnoordijk The Netherlands, dim.: 9,90 (lwl 8,15) x 3,40 x 1,50 mtrs, design by Frans Maas, headway: 14 mtrs (tall mast version), grp hull, deck and superstructure, teak in cockpit, perspex windows in alum. framing, roundbilged hull, fin keel, balanced spade rudder, displacement: 4,9 tonns, ballast: 2 tonnes (cast iron), fueltank: 70 ltrs, freshwatertank: 150 ltrs, Whitlock mechanical wheelsteering, emergency tiller.
Classic teak interior, 2 cabins and saloon, 4(+2) berths, dinette (converts into double berth), headroom: 1,96 mtrs, Trumatic ducted hot air heating (gas), galley: electric waterpressure system, hot water system on motor/220V, Techimpex s.s. three burner gasstove with oven, Frigomatic 12v fridge.
Yanmar 3GM30 27 hp (20kW) diesel, installed in 1994, indirect coolingsystem, Yanmar Saildrive, two bladed propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 6 knots, consumption approx. 2,5 ltr/hr, 1 x manual bilgepump, 2 batteries (engine batterie 2004), shorepower, 12/220v electrical system, Calira automatic batterycharger.
