Broker's comments
"Bec Scie"" was completely rebuilt in the years prior to 2004 when it was relaunched. Stripped to bare steel, reballasted with lead, sandblasted, epoxy and urethane finish. Interior redesigned, new electricity, new plumbing, new equipment, rigging reset in Sta-Lock fittings. Only original parts: hull, engine, mast with two Gibbs winches. European VAT paid by current owner.

General
Steel One off 35 ft sailing yacht "Bec Scie", hull built in 1978 by Holland Boat Work in Toronto - Canada. Interior and rigging completely rebuilt in 2004 by current owner.
Dim.: Loa 12,00 m (Lod 10,97 m) x 3,35 m x 1,55 m.
Steel hull, superstructure and deck, dorades on deck.
Acryl single glass windows of 10 mm in steel framing (portholes of 13 mm).
Multi chine hull, long keel, attached rudder.
Displacement: approx. 8 tonnes, ballast: 2.7 tonnes (lead).
Tankage:
Fuel capacity: approx. 160 litres in integral keel tank + approx. 80 litres in stainless steel day tank.
Fresh water capacity: approx. 355 litres in two stainless steel tanks.
Grey water capacity: approx. 4 litres in fiberglass tank - automatic pump out.
Black water capacity: approx. 180 litres in wood/epoxy glass tank.
Vetus hydraulic steering in- and outside, emergency tiller.
Light interior, saloon, one cabin, 4 berths.
Par Max pressurized water system, plus hand operated stand by, sea water pump.
Raised settee in salon providing all around view.
One double berth, 2 quarter berths.
Galley: a three burner Force 10 propane stove with oven and grill - gimbaled.
Top loading cool box (100 litres) and freezer (60 litres) with Veco sytem with hull condenser.
Marine head with wash bowl, manual pump toilet (in black water tank) and shower.
Separate bow compartment with deck access only, providing large storage space.
Sea 2300 CD player/radio.
Yanmar 3QM30 - 3 cylinder 30 hp diesel engine, Yanmar KJ-18 gearbox, reduction 2.13.

Cruising speed: 5 knots at 2100 Rpm.
Note: the engine was removed and put in storage (with proper care) for almost 20 years. Owner estimate the hours between 1.800 and 2.300. (There was no working meter when purchased).

Vetus electric bow thruster of 35 kgf.
Electric circuit: 12V.
