Broker's comments

Built at the Porali Marin yard in Sweden, same yard as the Hallberg Rassy's and Najad's in that period. She is a good example of seagoing, safe cruisingyacht. Excellent design incorporating performance under sail, spacious accommodations and a large centre cockpit. The interior shows 2 spacious cabins forward and aft. Her underwatership with fin keel and skeg hung rudder provide for safe and fast sailing.

GRP sailingyacht Bostrom 37 ''Oekelepoek'', built in 1977 by Porali Marin AG, Sweden, dim.: 11.05 (lwl 9.45) x 3.95 x 1.95 m, design by B.E.R. Bostrom, grp hull, deck and superstructure (painted in 1997), perspex windows, roundbilged hull, fin keel, balanced rudder, displacement: 8 tons, ballast: 3.2 tons, fueltank: 140 ltrs, freshwatertank: 300 ltrs,wheelsteering, emergency tiller.

Classic teak interior, 2 cabins and saloon, 4(+2) berths, headroom approx. 1.92 m, 1 x u.w.toilet, shower, galley: electric waterpressure system, Vaillant geyser hot water (gas), Engel 12v fridge ('91), Nautic three burner gasstove and oven.

Volvo Penta MD21A 45 hp (33kW) diesel, installed in 1977, approx. 2000 runninghours, mechanical gearbox, s.s. propellershaft, three bladed folding propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 7 kn, consumption approx. 3 ltr/hr, 1 x manual bilgepump, 12/220v electrical system, shorepower, 3 x 105amp batteries, batterycharger.

Silva 100 compass, Autohelm ST 50 log and echosounder, Sailor RT144 VHF, VDO log/echosounder defect, VDO windset masthead unit to be replaced.

Sprayhood, wintercover, stainless steel davits, lifebuoy, Danforth and CQR anchor with chain and line, boardingladder, fenders, clock, barometer, warps, etc. Underwatership proffessionally epoxy treated and all seacocks/hull fittings renewed 2002.

Sloop-rigged, aluminium mast, s.s. standing rigging, Harken headsail furler, 4 sails: main (Lion Sails '91) / genoa I (Lion Sails '91) / genoa III / spinaker, slabreefing for main, covers for main, tackle boomvang, 2 x 48A sheetwinches, 2 x 43A sheetwinches, 3 x 25 halyardwinches, 1 x 18 halyardwinch, all by Lewmar, spi-pole.
