Broker's comments

Allthough she has seen better days, this Trintella 42 could be a good basis for the "hands-on" sailer. "Farasha" has cared for her owner and crew very well on many occasions in sailing the Atlantic and the Med. Bringing them to ports safely in adverse conditions as the Trintella 42 is a tremendous offshore sailing yacht. Lots of work to be done, survey report available. To be sold in "as is" condition.

GRP sailingyacht Trintella 42, built in 1981 by Anne Wever/Trintella Netherlands, dim.: 12,90 (lwl 10,60) x 4,00 x 2,15 mtr, design by E.G. van de Stadt, GRP hull, deck and superstructure, round bilged hull, fin keel, displacement: 9 tonnes, ballast: 4 tonnes (lead), fueltank: 250 ltrs, freshwatertank: 450 ltrs, sumptank: 100 ltrs, Whitlock mechanical wheelsteering.

Classic teak interior, 2 cabins and salon, 4(+2) berths, dinette, headroom approx. 1,95 mtr, 2 x uw. toilet, shower, washbasin, shower, Eberspaecher diesel ducted hot air heating, galley; electric waterpressure system, boiler hot water system (Isothemp 220v+engine), Engel 12v fridge, Plastimo two burner gasstove with oven and grill.

Volvo Penta MD22L 50 hp (36kW) diesel, installed in 1993, indirect coolingsystem, approx. 1500 runninghours, Volvo Penta Saildrive, three bladed propeller, cruisingspeed approx. 7 knots, consumption approx. 3,5 ltr/hr, manual bilgepump, 12/220v electrical system, batteries, shorepower, batterycharger, bowthruster (2006).

Sloop-rigged, Isomat aluminium mast with ss standing rigging (some standing rigging renewed 2001), Harken genoa furler, 6 sails: main (2006) / genoa I / genoa II (2006) / high aspect jib / spinnaker / gennaker ('95), slabreefing for main, mainsailcover, backstayadjuster, boomvang, 2 x Barlow 36CST sheetwinches, 2 x 27C +2 x 26CST Barlow halyard winches, spi-pole, jockey-pole. Yacht will be delivered with mast not mounted.
