Freedom Yachts has woven the best ideas of interiorlayout and the modern ideas of rigging into an unique serie of yachts. The Freedom 24 is a bit known from the dutch magazine "Zeilen". The Freedom 38 is just as easy to handle but offers more accommodation under deck. The yard provides a life-long guarantee on the carbon mast. Rarely seen in Europe, kept in good condition.

General
Freedom 38 Sin Par, built in 1991 by Freedom Yachts in USA, hull number: 138, design by Gary W. Mull, dim.: Loa 11.56 m (Lwl 9.35 m) x 3.81 m x 1.83 m, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, round bilged hull, fin keel, displacement: approx. 6.078 tonnes, fuel tank: approx. 227 litres (s.s.), fresh water tank: approx. 290 litres (GRP), sump tank: 40 litres, wheel steering, emergency tiller.
classic teak/ashen interior, saloon + front and aft cabin, 4 (+3) berths, toilet room with wash bowl, shower and manual toilet (in waste tank/just outside), Webasto heating, hot water system through boiler: runs on engine (220V - not in use), electrical water pressure system, galley with sink, fridge (with a small freezing compartment) and a three burner gas stove with oven (must be checked).
Yanmar 3GM-30F 27 hp diesel engine, Max Prop propeller - three bladed, fire extinguisher, gas detector, elect. bilge pump, three batteries of 70 amp., electrical circuit: 12V/220V, shore power, Victron battery charger/invertor, two solar cells.
