Although she needs some cosmetic upgrades come aboard of the Catalina 30 and discover why she has a reputation as America's favourite cruiser.

General
GRP sailing yacht, Catalina 30 "Part of the Act", built in 1989 by Catalina Yachts - USA, dim.: approx. 9,30 m x 3,15 m x 1,30 m., GRP hull, superstructure and deck, teak part outside replaced in '97 - has to be varnished, osmosis treatment by Klerk Yachtservice in Enkhuizen ('95), single glass windows, wing keel, displacement: 10.300 Lbs (approx. 4.672 kg), one fuel tank of aluminium, two fresh water tanks + one sump tank, wheel steering. Large cockpit with enough space for the whole crew and special contoured skipper's seat. Her owner (second since '94) didn’t stop investing in her, so she had all necessary replacements/ upgrading.
Nice classic teak saloon with good headroom, the many portholes guarantee a lot of light inside, comfortable settee on starboard and a L-shaped settee on the port side. The galley is reach of the big dinner table and cockpit, double stainless steel sink, two burner gas cooker with oven (gimballed) and a Novacool fridge + small freeze compartment ('94), electric water pressure system, water pump replaced in '01, Atwood boiler (runs on engine/220V). Due the forward position of the engine, you'll find a spacious and light aft berth under the cockpit. Fore cabin with another double bed, total 4 (+3 in saloon) berths, marine head with wash bowl, toilet (in waste tank or just outside), and shower (elec. shower pump '95), Webasto (diesel) hot air heating ('95).
Universal 25 XG 3 cylinder 25 hp diesel engine, Hurth gearbox 2:1, start engine replaced in '94, dynamo ('97), cool water pump replaced in '04, three bladed propeller (+ two bladed as spare), bilge pump, electric circuit: 12V/220V (installed in '95), earth leakage breaker, battery charger ('94), shore power connection, electric circuit: 12V/220V, batteries: 2x service (Duplex Energy of '04) + 1x start ('05).
Compass, Shipmate RS 8300 VHF with Atis/GMDSS of Dec '96- connected with GPS, Tridata '95; echo sounder, wind set, speed, Autohelm ST4000 auto pilot ('92), Philips MK8 GPS ('96), Navcenter ('01).
Sprayhood, ('95), cockpit cover ('96), large folding cockpit table ('97), wind vane, stereo, four live jackets, life lines, three anchors, boarding ladder (with teak covered), two wired sea railing s.s., spare parts, clock and barometer, fenders, mooring lines, sea cocks in cockpit replaced in '97.
Tall rig, Proctor aluminium mast ('95) with s.s. shrouds, cutter stay for storm jib ('95), Profurl headsail furling system ('95), original main sail, storm jib ('95) - only used one time (with back stays) and a furling genoa (Fa. Schokker - '95), talie boom vang ('96), five winches.
