Upon introduction in 1978, the Fisher 34 set the benchmark for the definitive design for a very successful motorsailer. The yacht builders from Fairways Marine (later Northshore) have been building these typical Baltic Sea type motorsailers for many years. "Penelope" is just on the market, she's in a very good shape, complete with an engine of 2001 and a complete set of sails of 2000.

General
GRP motorsailer Fisher 34 Ketch "Penelope", built in 1979 by Fairways Marine Ltd (Northshore) in England, design by Wyatt & Freeman, dim.: Loa 10,46 m (Lwl 9,10 m) x 3,42 m x 1,44 m, GRP hull, superstructure and deck, deck covered in "Treadmaster" non slip matting, round bilged dark blue hull, anti-osmosis treatment in 2001, hardened glass windows in aluminium framing, two fuel tanks of s/s: approx. total 300 litres, fresh water tank: approx. 280 litres, displacement: approx. 10.668 tonnes, ballast: 4.75 tonnes (iron), mechanical wheel steering in pilothouse and tiller steering in cockpit.
Classic teak interior, wheel house with steering position and bench, saloon + front and aft cabin, 4 (+2) berths. Eberspäecher hot air heating, upholstery saloon replaced in 2002. Marine head with wash bowl, shower and a RM69 Sealock manual under water toilet of 2001. Electric water pressure system, hot water through boiler - runs on 220V and engine. Galley with a Plastimo Neptune 2000 two burner gas stove with oven of 2002 - thermal saved, fridge (recent - runs on 12V), JVC stereo with CD-player, Glomex antenna. Gas installation - last inspection 2003. Two gas bottles in separate gas locker in cockpit.
Mitsubishi S4Q - 4 cylinder 50 hp diesel engine of 2001, approx. 1.050 engine hours, intercooling - wet exhaust, hydraulic gearbox, maximum speed: 7 knots, four bladed bronze propeller, propeller shaft s/s of 2001, electric bilge pump, electric circuit: 12V/220V, three batteries, shore power, fire extinguisher.
Plastimo compass, Seafarer 700 echosounder, Nasa Stingray log (must be checked), Vetus wind set: speed + direction, Shipmate RS8100 VHF ('94) with Atis, Furuno radar (must be checked), Autohelm 6000 autopilot, Leica AP navigator MK9 GPS-D, Target Navtex Pro-Plus.
Arimar 4 persons life raft in container of 2001 (must be inspected), one wiper, manual anchor windlass - self draining anchor locker beneath, anchor with anchor chain, boarding ladder s/s, clock and barometer, radar reflector, cockpit cushions, cockpit table. Pulpit, push pit, stanchions and guardrails of s/s., yacht legs.
Ketch rigged, Spars by Kemp: masts and booms of gold anodised aluminium with s/s fittings, Plastimo head sail furling system, standing rig s/s, brown Dacron sails of 2000: main sail - 19,78 m2, furling genoa - 29,7 m2 + UV-stroke, mizzen - 6,13 m2 (+ old set), main drop system for main sail and mizzen of 2000, talie boomvang, sail cover, two Lewmar 40 ST two speed winches for genoa sheets in cockpit + two Lewmar 7 single speed main and headsail winches and cleats on mast, spi pole.
