General
Steel sailing yacht Beachcomber 42 "Polly Maggoo", built in 1979 by Scheepswerf De Rietpol in Spaarndam - Holland, dim.: 12,60 m x 4,00 m x 1,65 m (twin keels), design by Kees Koopman, steel hull, superstructure and deck (7mm/5mm), deck with anti-slip, teak on cockpit benches, hardened glass windows in aluminium framing, multi chine hull, two fuel tanks (steel): approx. total 700 litres, two fresh water tanks (steel): approx. 1x 1.000 litres + 1x 500 litres, hydraulic wheel steering in- and outside, emergency tiller, Sailomat wind vane.
Classic teak interior, wheelhouse with settee and steering position, saloon + galley, front and large aft cabin, total 5 berths, headway: approx. 2,00m, marine head with wash bowl, shower and manual pump toilet. Leather upholstery in saloon and wheelhouse, Heatpol central heating (diesel), electric water pressure system, Vetus boiler (runs on 220Vand engine), galley with double stainless steel sink, four burner gas stove with oven (thermal saved), the three cabins separated by bulk heads.T.V. and stereo with CD-player.
BMC Tempest 72 hp diesel engine of 1979, wet outlet, propeller shaft oil lubricated, maximum speed: 8 knots, Mase 3 kW generator, electric system: 12V/24V/220V, battery charger / invertor, 4x 120 Ah service batteries + 1x 88 Ah start battery - all of 2007, 1x electric + 2x manual bilge pump.
Compass, echosounder, log, Sailor VHF with Atis, Robertson hydraulic autopilot, Furuno radar, Navtex, Furuno GPS, rudder indicator.
Sprayhood - must be checked, bimini, 4 persons life raft (must be checked), live jackets, safety buoy, manual windlass, Bruce anchor of 35 kg with 30 m chain (8mm), Quicksilver 230 airdeck tender, boarding ladder of stainless steel, deck wash installation, two wired stainless steel sea railing, manual search light.
Cutter rig, aluminium mast, mast lowering system, Bamar headsail furling system + furling system for cutter sail, sails of De Vries - Brouwershaven: main sail (23,4m2), genoa (41,5m2), cutter jib (16,2m2), storm jib, half winder, sail cover for main.
