The Bavaria 31, an easy to sail, safe and seaworthy sailing yacht with good accommodations with lots of privacy in two separate cabins. The swallow draft of 1.25 m makes her the ideal boat for sailors that also like to sail on the smaller lakes.

General
GRP sailing yacht Bavaria 31, built in 1999 by Bavaria Yachts GmbH - Germany, J&J design, dim.: Loa 10,00 m (Lwl 8,25 m) x 2,99 m x 1,25 m, height of mast above waterline: approx. 14,50 m (without antenna), GRP hull, superstructure and deck, preventive osmoses treatment, teak in cockpit, round bilged white hull, hardened glass windows in aluminium framing, displacement: approx. 3,6 tonnes, ballast: 1,1 tonnes, fresh water capacity: approx. 150 litres, fuel capacity: approx. 90 litres, Whitlock pedestal, mechanical wheel steering, emergency tiller.

Mahogany interior, saloon + front and aft cabin, 4 (+2) berths, headway: approx. 1,85 m, marine head with wash bowl and Jabsco manual under water toilet, pressurised water system, SHURFlo marine fresh water pump, galley with stainless steel sink, gas stove with oven (thermal saved) and Coolmatic fridge, Webasto Air top 2000 hot air heating, Blaupunkt stereo with cassette.

Volvo Penta MD2020 with saildrive 120S - 20 hp, intercooling system, mechanical gearbox, two bladed propeller, electric and manual bilge pump, electric circuit: 12V/220V, batteries: 1x 135 ah + 1x 55 ah, shore power with earth leakage breaker, Mastervolt battery charger (IVO 12/25).

Suunto Marine compass, Raytheon ST60 Tridata: echo sounder, boat speed and log, Navico wind set, Shipmate VHF with Atis, Furuno GP-30 GPS.

Sprayhood, cockpit table, safety lines, plough anchor (17 kg), anchor chain (approx. 10 m) + anchor line (approx. 25 m), cockpit shower (cold water), boarding ladder (stainless steel), bathing platform, clock and barometer.3x fire extinguisher.

Sloop rig, Selden aluminium mast, Furlex 100S headsail furling system, sails: battened main sail (24,2 m2) , genoa (26,6 m2), half winder. 2x Harken two-speed winches + 2x Harken single speed wiches.
