GRP sailing yacht Bavaria 40-3 "Silence", built in 2002 by Bavaria Yachts GmbH in Germany, dim.: Loa 12,48 m (Lwl 10,95 m) 3,99 m x 1,95 m, headway: 17,05 m (without antenna), J&J design, CE class A. GRP hull, superstructure and deck, anti slip on deck, teak on cockpit floor and cockpit benches, windows in aluminium framing, round bilged hull, fin keel, balanced spade rudder. Displacement: 8,3 tonnes, ballast: 2,85 tonnes (cast iron), fuel tank capacity: 150 litres (polyethylene tank), fresh water capacity: 2x 150 litres (polyethylene tank), sump tank: 40 litres. Mechanical wheel steering, steering wheel leather covered, emergency tiller.

Classic mahogany interior, saloon + three cabins + two marine heads, 6 berths, headroom: approx. 1,95 m. Eberspracher hot air heating. Electric water pressure system, hot water trough boiler (runs on 220V/engine). Cozy saloon with U-shaped settee and small bench on starboard side. Owners cabin forward with cupboards and toilet and wash basin. Guest cabin aft with toilet-shower (with drain pump) and wash basin. SidePower SP75 T electric bow thruster. Electric and manual bilge pump. Electric circuit: 12V, 220V shore power with earth leakage breaker, shower power cable. Batteries: 2x 100 amp (service) + 1x 80 amp. (engine)+ 1x 100 amp. (bow thruster). Two battery chargers: 1x Sterling; service/start + 1x Quick; bow thruster.

Compass on pedestal, Raymarine ST60: echo souder / log and wind set, Icom VHF with Atis, Raymarine Radar Pathfinder 24 miles, Raymarine ST4000 autopilot, Furuno GP32 GPS.

Sprayhood, cockpit table, Arimar 4 persons life raft in container - last inspection Oct 2008, must be inspected. Lofrans electric windlass, plough anchor, CQR anchor, bathing platform with deck shower (hot/cold water), boarding ladder of stainless steel, deck wash. Spare parts, clock and barometer, radar reflector.

Sloop rigged, Seldén aluminium double spreader mast, stainless steel rig, Furlex headsail and mainsail furling system. M-sails: vertical battened main sail of 33 m2 + furling genoa of 41m2. Elvström original set of sails: main sail + genoa II. Tackle boom vang and backstay adjuster Harken winches: 2x 44CST sheet winches + 2x 40CST halyard winches + 2x 33 winches in cockpit, sheet-halyards lead aft into cockpit for easy handling.
